It seems plugins users are missing latest updates and features.
It’s been couple of years without update. I want to adopt this plugin and maintain it.
Waiting for your response.
Best Regards
Liton Arefin
When I check the very last option, to “Remove from next previous rel link,” I still see the posts in the next and previous links on the other pages that are before or after a given post, even when this option is checked and the post has been saved.
]]>Hey,
I use WP Hide Post on my sites and some posts are set as Post Visibility set to “Hide on the front page.“.
I was working with the WordPress REST API for posts. and found that those posts do not show up in in the results. They do not appear in the response for a post list commang but can be individually retrieved using the API.
Is this the expected behavior? Is so, is there a workaround where I can keep the posts hidden on the front page, but still have them list in the post list’s API response?
Thanks for the plugin.

Once I click a check box to hide one of the line items in a post and “update” or save the post I can’t unhide that item. If I uncheck the box and re-update it stays hidden. How can I undo checking a box or hiding something?
]]>Hi, i know I wont get a reply so i guess this is more of a warning.
I bought the Pro version as its only $3 but make sure you cancel the subscription as its not clear on the site that it is subscription based.
It only works on a very basic level, any other theme integration like posts being pulled in as a “Related to’ type feed from taxonomy, and any other plugin feeds will still show posts that you’ve hidden.
Oh well

]]>This WP Hide Post plugin is having a conflict with DIVI Theme (Elegant Themes). This plugin is so awesome, I’m hoping you can help with this issue.
When this plugin is activated, the navigation bar (in the Divi theme from Elegant Themes, in the dashboard) isn’t displaying correctly.
I’m hoping you might be able to look into this and help correct it. When I deactivate this plugin, the issue goes away.
Please let me know if you need anything from me to help you find and fix this. It would be very much appreciated.

]]>Over the last few days I’ve had several weird glitches occuring on my site’s admin pages. After troubleshooting, I’ve discovered that they occur when the WP Hide Post plugin is active. Could it be clashing with the latest wordpress update?
The main issue is that the Posts page on my admin back-end is not loading fully. When I deactivate WP Hide Post, it loads as normal. but When the plugin is active, it looks like this:
https://paste.pics/637d9923a8a6d78a016bca0f19fae220
Other weird glitches are occuring with me not being able to click buttons – mostly on the Yoast SEO plugin settings page and the comments page. For example the “reply” button on the comments page is a clickable link, but when I click it nothing happens. Again, it works fine when the WP Hide Post plugin is disabled.
Does the plugin need updating?
]]>I was about to install this plugin when I saw the bad reviews. I don’t mind paying for a plugin that works, even if $3 per month is a bit overpriced in my opinion.
What concerned me were the reported performance issues and the fact that the plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year. So I decided to find ways of replicating the functionality of this plugin by leveraging the WordPress API and hooks. I documented the relatively easy process in a blog post:
https://michaelkummer.com/blogging/howto-hide-posts-pages-in-wordpress/
I hope you’ll find the sample code useful.

Is this plugin support multi-website?
]]>Hi, this is the only plugin on out site (we love it) that doesn’t work with PHP 7.1.

I just installed this as it should do exactly what I want but when the plugin is active, I get the following message appearing across the top of my site (and in my side bar):
Warning: Parameter 2 to wp_hide_post_Public::query_posts_join() expected to be a reference, value given in /var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286
Any ideas on how to fix this or make the error go away. The plugin seems to be working but having that message on my public site is a non-starter.
Using the most recent version of the plug-in and WP version 4.9.6

Hello,
New-be here. I really like the functionality this plugin advertises and it may be that I do not understand but I would like to hide the Previous/Next links at the bottom of the post page.
None of the options seem to do this and I searched the Settings and the license activation states in red “License is invalid” so I clicked the Activate (with no key) and get an Error “Invalid Plugin or theme(2)” I thought it might be our domain firewall (inside corporate intranet site) issue?
So I went and purchased the Pro plugin which when installed locked up the site until I deleted the plugin pro subdirectory. Can you help me figure out what the issue might be? Thank you.

Hi,
I’m using WP Hide Post. It is hiding the posts I want to be hidden on the frontend. But in the backend I see some error messages in the dashboard:
Warning: fopen(D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\marcelkrijgsman.nl\httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\marcelkrijgsman.nl\httpdocs\wp-content\plugins\wp-hide-post\wp-hide-post.php): failed to open stream: Invalid argument in?D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\marcelkrijgsman.nl\httpdocs\wp-includes\functions.php?on line?4834??Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in?D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\marcelkrijgsman.nl\httpdocs\wp-includes\functions.php?on line?4837??Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in?D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\marcelkrijgsman.nl\httpdocs\wp-includes\functions.php?on line?4840
I de-activated the plugin WP Hide Post and the error messages were gone. So in my opinion it has to do something with this plugin.
Has someone an idea how to fix these error messages?

Dear Sir/Madam,
I was wondering if you could help me with this case:
I’d like to use the “Genesis featured posts” widget featuring some posts on the front page of my website, however I don’t want these posts to appear on the website as well, but when I use the plugin WP Hide Post and use the “hide from front page” button, the posts don’t appear within the widget anymore either. I can press “Exclude previous displayed posts?” but actually I just only want to use the widget for those posts, and not for them to appear on home at all.
I’m quite new to wordpress, hopefully you could help me!
Many thanks in advance,
Esther
Hi
I’m using WP all import (https://www.wpallimport.com/) to generate a bunch of posts from a csv file and I don’t want them showing up on my front page.
WP all import supports setting custom fields and my uneducated guess is that the hide post plugin uses one to flag where posts are displayed? However, I can’t seem to find this field or any other way to accomplish this import without them showing up on frontpage.
Anyone?
