Super plugin! Quick question tho, do you know if this will effect SEO at all?
When search engine bots crawl the domains, will it think that all the different urls contain duplicate content of the original? I know that Google, for example, does not like duplicate content and that can greatly reduce search results.

As suggested in discussion regarding sitemaps, WP Hydra should provide a setting for accepted DNS domain list in order to prevent hijacking.

If you can share a piece of code containing the calling of the analytics.js file and the different tracking ID’s that might be very helpful to me.

i added this php shortcode (smart slider) in my homepage

I’ve tried to use this plugin to be able to access the blog using two different IP addresses that point to the server (i.e https://192.168.1.10 and https://192.168.20.12). I didn’t work for me, but I’m not sure if it is due to having an incompatible WordPress version or that the plugin does not work with IP addresses but only with domain names.

But I eventually will want to point more domains in future. Do I have to wait, till I have all domains pointed or can I activate it right now, beginning with a couple of domains and add more in future?

]]>We have an Intranet site setup on our internal LAN at example.domain.com. We have installed the WP Hydra plugin to resolve for our employees that work outside of the network at link.example.com. Both URLs point to a single install of WP on the internal LAN and works but, the outside site is very slow. It takes almost three times as long to open and browse through the pages. Have you encountered this or heard this before.

I have the following script in header.php with the intent of creating a hreflang tag:
<link rel=”alternate” href=”https://domain.com<?php echo parse_url($_SERVER[‘REQUEST_URI’],PHP_URL_PATH); ?>” hreflang=”x-default” />
The idea is to return something like this:
<link rel=”alternate” href=”https://domain.com/URL/Path” hreflang=”x-default” />
But what I get is:
<link rel=”alternate” href=”//domain.com/URL/Path” hreflang=”x’-default” />
As you can see, the “https:” part has been left out but I need it for the hreflang tag. Any suggestions as to what’s happening?

I have a wordpress MU sites, and I use WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin to mapping several domain to the original Mu sites and subdomain sites, but it looks that the sites can not display the images correctly if I make the mapped domain as primary domain, so my question is, whether WP Hydra support for wordpress MU to redirect domain?

]]>Using WP Hydra and loving it but submitting sitemaps to google wmt are a hassle.
Thus far my solution is to use a third party webservice to crawl my website for each domain and upload each sitemap to the website individually and also enter the url in wmt.
I’d love a solution that automatically creates an XML sitemap for each domain thus omitting the process of creating and uploading X number of sitemaps every time I rename or add an article.
Any help on the existence of such a service/plugin?
]]>Simply fantastic plugin. I was so pleased to find this simple but effective plugin that really solves an issue that has bugged me for years.
My only query is that when I view an ‘ alternative ‘ domain to the main one, the CSS from the main theme does not seem to carry over to the ‘ alternative ‘ domain and it slightly distorts the appearance of the page.
I use the Genesis framework if it helps.

]]>WP Hydra works as intended but it’d be great to be able to use separate Google Analytics tracking codes for each domain.
These guys have done it but unfortunately the plugin doesn’t always work as intended: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/multiple-domains-with-analytics/
They don’t respond to support so I’m guessing they don’t develop it anymore.

I am trying to get a second domain to work with my site (with a woocommerce store) and all works beautifully until checkout.
Domain1.com is the main domain, and on checkout uses forced SSL to accept payment. But when I go to checkout on Domain2.com, I can’t access it through SSL when it attempts to switch, so I get a security error with my browser.
I am not sure if there is something I can do for this, but if you are able to help at all I would greatly appreciate it.
