I’ve an indie writing blog. Pictures really give the words a chance to breathe, but it’s time-consuming to take or search for pics, confusing to be sure of clearance rights on pics, and expensive to use stock images when you don’t sell anything and there’s no money to divy up. I found this plugin and it is amazing. You drop in photos and it does the rest. I’ve gone back a few times to read on it and make sure this is all okay and legal. Seems to be. If I ever get discovered and make some money on my site, I will gladly give some of it for this service. Great plugin!

I love this plugin. It works very well. I have never had a conflict or issue with it.
Thomas maintains it regularly.
Excellent tool for bloggers.

The idea is great and it could be super useful, would change to a 5 star in a heartbeat if below issues were fixed:
1.
Unluckily in my case it doesn’t pull images from Pixabay, there’s always an error, and Pixabay is by far the most important resource.
2.
You only get the pictures that comes in the result, you can’t load more, which is not good because often the good picture you want might be on the second or third page.

100% accurate as per my needs.

it is easy to use and helping to find images. i hope in future more image resources could be added (not only pixabay and flickr)

You can search for images, and click the add featured button, which makes the image end up in the media library, but the plugin fails to update the “featured image” widget on the post page with the new image. You have to refresh the page to see the changes. This makes it confusing.

We installed it at a group blog where, after an outlandish but still potentially expensive threat of lawsuit for copyright infringement, we adopted a policy of using properly credited rights-cleared images. It quickly became a favorite of editors and writers, and an essential tool. Takes a little bit of work to understand and configure correctly, but overall it’s very easy to use. If the developers added Wikimedia search, I’d need six stars.

This is a really useful plugin for authors. It would be even better if it was possible to open a search box with subsequent image gallery from a TinyMCE panel. Full set of feature requests:
* Support for wikicommons
* Access to ImageInject interface from TinyMCE panel.
* Alternative ways to credit image authors – overlay on top of image?

I have been using this since it got a plug in WPTavern. It has made adding a nice free featured image to posts a lot easier and it works pretty well. There are a few things not working optimally – picking licenses, mouseover images not displaying well, etc. – and the developer is completely absent from www.ads-software.com but overall a must-have and an excellent free tool.

I wish it would download the full size image to the media library. With Retina displays 1024px isn’t always large enough for my purposes. Still this is a great free plugin!

This plugin works, but I wish the attribution template allows {title} to be inserted.
It would also be nice to have a checkbox in the settings to DISABLE Pixabay.

Thank you for making this plugin. Before I found it I spent hours trying to find good and free photos around the web. Now I can concentrate more on what I am supposed to do: writing. This plugin contributes to making the internet a pretty place for everyone!

Its a very good free plugin that works well on my desktop browser. However, I frequently create new posts from my iPad and this plugin becomes very difficult to use. I think its just a layout issue, the search button is covered by the drop down list of image sources.
Also, it would be great to change a setting to only use Flickr images.

Love how easy this plugin makes choosing images from Pixabay. That said, when Pixabay doesn’t have what I need, I do consider using Flickr images. Two thumbs up for adding the selected images to the WordPress Media Library.

This is an excellent plugin. I had a minor issue when I first installed it, but Thomas’s support was first-rate and the issue was involved within an hour or two.
Highly recommended.

One of my favorite plugins and extremely useful. No more waste of time finding free photos to illustrate a post. An excellent free plugin.
Easy to use and flexible to configure.
Highly recommended (thumbs up)
Thank you so much to Thomas H?fter for this plugin!

I am very happy with this superb plugin. The hassle of finding images and giving proper attribution was a cumbersome process. With this plugin I can save hours of time. Thank you for providing this!

I was looking for a simple way to add a proper CC attribution caption to flickr images and I was amazed how comfortable and time-saving this plugin is. It allows you to beef up your blog post with high-quality images from flickr right away while writing the post.
As you have influence about the generated image tag and the cc-attribution text, you can easily adapt everything to fit in your current layout. Highly recommended!
