I was regenerating my Basic Display API token and see a message “Starting December 4, 2024, all requests to the Instagram Basic Display API will return an error message. We recommend that you migrate your app to the Instagram API to avoid any disruption to your services.” Will the Social Media Feed – Social Feed Gallery With API, work with the Instagram API? Do you have any documentation related to the upgrade?

The plugin has been working great for us and we would like to continue using it, however every couple of months the token gets disabled. We then have to go in and re-authorize/generate the token again and update the shortcode. Is there a way to stop the token from expiring?

I went through all the steps flawlessly, but when it shows up on my page, there is some strange code showing on the right hand side and below the feed. I have no idea where it’s coming from or how to get rid of it.

I noticed the Instagram feed was throwing an error in the footer of the Prima Marketing site. I attempted to fix by creating a new IG Access Token, with a new FB App.

However, when I attempt to create the token via Meta for Developers button, the pop-up window has an error. I believe the Page cannot be found…

Did Facebook change the way tokens are managed?
