Hi
I am using the plugin ‘Regions for WP Job Manager’ to make a dropdown menu listing job locations. I want to change the text ‘All Regions’ in the dropdown menu. But, I can’t find the original string. I use the plug in ‘Say What’ to translate/change the text.
Anyone who know the original string for ‘All Regions’?
Thanks
]]>Hi there,
We are in the process of updating to PHP 8.2, and this plugin is causing an error. WPJM no longer shows listings and is just blank. The following error appears in the error log:

]]>Hello
I have installed Regions for WP Job Manager and everything is working fine,
I need to disable region for Resume, , How Can I do that, ? As there is no option to disable region for resume listing
Hi,
I followed the requirements: checkbox “Display Location Address” is enabled, a valid Google Maps API is filled, and the custom location fields are correctly filled when I enter an address in the “location” field. However, on the backend, on the job list view, it’s written “anywhere” for the location column instead of the address, and the filtering doesn’t work on the frontend.
I got in touch with WP Job Manager’s support, they investigated and it turns out that when we specify the Region, the issue doesn’t happen. As such, it appears this issue is being caused by the Regions for WP Job Manager plugin. It looks like the Region always overrides the location.
Let me know if you need admin credentials. If you do, please provide me an email address so I can send you the credentials.
Regards,
Clara.

Issue:
if-clause does not check for an empty search_region parameter. This may cause an empty array of tax_query terms to be added to the query object arguments, which then results in an empty response. When rending via front-end, this may appear as “no results” for an otherwise valid(-ish) query. This behavior may be undesirable when using a third-party theme or plugin which implements the search_region URL parameter incorrectly; e.g.: “…&search_region=” instead of “…&search_region=0”.
Suggestion:
Add statement to if-clause:
... && ( ! empty( $params[ 'search_region' ] ) ) ...

This is the error that I am getting in “main.min.js”, seems like this issue may be causing an issue with google maps and the preview on the next page. the next page is supposed to have a map preview but it’s not showing up.

When both are active, no jobs show on our jobs page (the one with the [jobs] shortcode).

I’d love to be able to continue using the Regions for WP Job Manager plugin – any suggestions or updates available?
Thank you!

Getting a 404 error pertaining to script file /plugins/wp-job-manager/assets/js/jquery-chosen/chosen.jquery.min.js?ver=1.1.0
This is resulting in the following console error(s): jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:1 Uncaught TypeError: s.chosen is not a function, which breaks a certain form field (‘Job Region’).
Is there a work around for this? Currently utilizing WordPress v6 and Regions for WP Job Manager v1.18.1.

Thank you for the plugin. It looked promising in the beginning.
However, it seems to not be possible to filter by predefined region, when searching for a job. What is the advantage when the job seeker can’t filter by the predefined region?
Would be awesome to have that!
Thank you

]]>Hello,
I would like to know if this plugin will be updated or not?
As the version of jquery is no longer supported, I am using a workaround to make this work.
In addition, I have just noticed that the Parent was no longer taken into account.
I have created several child regions and Parent regions.
And in the filter, if the parent is selected, it does not include the children.
Does anyone have the same concern? Do you have a solution?
Thank you in advance.

]]>Hi, nice to meet you. I’m writing because we use your plugin and since the last wordpress update to version 5.6, the plugin throws many jquery errors.
We have partially deactivated the plugin and the errors disappeared, but if we reactivate it, the web ends offline due to these errors and our server has told us to fix it or they will cancel our hosting service.
Could you please help us to resolve this problem, we cannot deactivate your plugin as is necessary in our site as we use regions for all our jobs urls and now don′t know what to do or how to proceed.
Thank you for your help.

But, when you search for a CHILD region, you do not see the listings allocated to the PARENT region. Is there a way to change that behaviour?
For example, imagine you have Europe as a parent region, and within it you have Italy as one of the child regions. If a job was posted in Italy, you will see it if you search for Europe and if you search for Italy. But, if a job was posted as being in Europe, meaning it can be done from anywhere in Europe, it won’t show up when the user searches for Italy.
