My posts have featured images, but these are not getting displayed when posting on LinkedIn. Are there any suggestions?

Company Page Not Showing

We have 3 company pages and when our editor recently set up the plugin he realized one of our company pages was not showing. Turns out he wasn’t content admin for that one page, I have since made him content admin for it. However, the page is still not showing up in the plugin (it is for me when I authenticate with my LinkedIn as I’ve always been the super admin) but we need it to show for him as we want posts to be posted in his name, and he will be managing the authentication every 2 months.

I tried deleting the plugin and re-installing and re-authenticating with the editor’s LinkedIn profile but the company page still doesn’t show in the plugin. Our other two company pages that he was always admin for are showing though.

Is there a way to reset the auth token between the plugin and LinkedIn or a way to delete cache files? Just trying to think what’s causing the plugin not detect the new admin access to the third company page.

I installed WPML and problem

Hi,

i used your plugin with success (ok I admint with a minor issue because when connected i was having the option to select both me and the company profile to post on and i wanted just me, and i left only me with a check on, but somehow this is ignored so that the post not only shows up on the company linked in page but it is doubled (i did not find if there is a setting in linked in to publish on the company whatever is showing on the me page)). I was using it to publish just one category of posts all the other being unchecked.

But now i created a WPML plugin that translates every post. The problem is that the translated to English posts do not follow the rules that are set for the main language (ignore all categories but one when posting) and is posting everything by default right after i hit the command in wpml to translate automaticaly a bunch of new posts.

what can i do?

LinkedIn error 401 need to re-authenticate each day

Hello,

If it helps to buy the AutoSocial to fix this problem I would be happy to. You fixed my problem in the past, and I want to support this development.

First the last two days LinkedIn has sent the plugin a message that says Error 401 the token used in this request has been revoked by the user. I didn’t revoke anything, and since this is the second day that this is happening that is why I am reaching out to you.

As I share a post via the plugin everything shows up correctly but the links are wrong. I provided the link to the page it should post but instead it goes to an older post.

LinkedIn auto publish – repost after copy event

I am using 2 plugins for the WP page, “Dublicate This” and “WP LinkedIn auto Publish” to create events and publish them to LinkedIn.

I have created one event and published it in LinkedIn, everything has been done as it was supposed to.

The problem appears when I dublicate the event, amend it and want to publish it to LinkedIn, it copies also the attribute from the original event that this event has been posted in Linked.

How can I reset the “Shered in LinkedIn” status so I can post the new event that was created by a dublication?

I think this might be also helpful in case I would like to re-post an event if and when is necessary as I could not find a way to repost from the WP plugin.

everything was working fine until I reauthenticated my linkedin page.

no new plugins, featured image is ok, and it shows on linkedin when I share link manually.

Since a few hours the LinkedIn Auto Publish plugin doesn’t post my jobs on LinkedIn anymore when I click on Share Now.
It says successfully share, but send the job to LinkedIn.
I don’t get an error message.
Can you please have a look?

Good day,

I have been using your plugin about 4-5 days. It was very good and useful, first of all thanks a lot for this beautiful plugin.
But I have faced a problem yesterday. I can not check the LinkedIn page now. I tried to reset all settings, delete/download plugin again. Unfortunately it is not fixed ..

Starting today, it no longer lets me share with companies, only through my profile

This worked yesterday without problems. Try relogging, reassigning permissions, deactivating, clearing the server cache, restarting it. But you still can’t share in companies.

Hi there,

I’m having troubles posting an allready excisting article/post to linked in.

I’ve disabled auto posting, try to do in manually. Selected a profile to post to. But it keeps saying “sending, please wait”. There is no logging of the attempt. The log below is of a test.

Although I had deselected the personal profile the post was also shared to it when updating the post (it had been originally written prior to the installation of the plugin).

And after another editing&saving the post was again shared to the company profile. In other circumstances this had not happened.

Hi, it seems like the re-authentication link is no longer working. When I click on the link that takes me to the Linkedin URL to reauthenticate, the link redirects me to my website’s wp-admin page but nothing would have changed. On the wp-admin page, the following warning/message is popping up: “WP LinkedIn Auto Publish needs to be re-authenticated! Automatic publishing of your posts to LinkedIn stopped working on: 11 May 2024 (that was 10 days ago.). Click here to re-authenticate.”

Dear WordPressers

I am having a big problem with the company website.

This afternoon I had installed the plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-linkedin-auto-publish/) to have a look but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I deactivated and uninstalled the plugin and right after that, the website no longer works. I can only access the backend.
Now I am very stressed because it’s weekend and I can’t reach the webmaster.

Is it possible to fix this problem by myself or should the webmaster solve this?

I have setuped the plugin like this:

Unfortunately the post_content is directly after the title on linked it. What is wrong?

Scheduled posts being shared to company pages twice

I’ve noticed recently that posts are now being shared to company pages twice. Nothing has changed in our process. We always schedule posts ahead of time and they normally share to LinkedIn using this plugin just fine.

You can see in this screenshot back in December they were posting normally; once to the connected personal profile and once to the connected company page. We then had a break for a couple of months and now since starting to post again in March this year, they all get shared to the company page twice.

Any ideas?

Default Featured Plugin using Default Featured Image Instead of New Image

I added the plugin code below for Default featured image, as the image I am using for the default featured image is passing to linkedin even when I have selected an image for the featured image in any of my posts. I’m just wondering with this code and your plugin if there’s some logic to just do a check to workaround what seems to be this plugin overriding the new featured image on initial saving of the post. If I delete the post on linkedin and go back to wordpress and submit the saved post again, the correct featured image appears the second time. Thanks for your time.

Posting to LinkedIn feature has stopped working

The post to LinkedIn feature has stopped working for me, I have gone through the checklist and everything seems to be in place.

When I press the share now link I can see that I’m receiving a 500 Internal server error.

I have disabled a few plugins to see if I can find the issue but no luck so far

The plugin shares my blog post to LinkedIn correctly, but the link in the LinkedIn post back to my blog post always goes to a 404 Page not found page. I have to edit the LinkedIn post manually with the correct url to my blog post.
