Hi, please redirect me if this question has been answered.
I have done this before but I cant make it work this time so I need help.
I changed my self hosted wordpress site login address through the wordpress dashboard. I refreshed the browser to log back in, it did not work. I’m messing with a new php page, which I uploaded to the site as a test page, and it is not responding as expected.
Help please…
I have this message on my Dashboard:
Your theme needs to be fixed for plugins to work. To fix your theme, use the Theme Editor to insert <?php wp_head(); ?> just before the
line of your theme’s header.php file.
How do you fix this?
Thank you.
My client requires that I add autocomplete=”off” to the password input tag on the login page. Which file do I edit? When I have tried editing wp-login.php I then get a white screen when I try to go to the site, it seems to screw things up.
Can anyone help me by telling me what this message means. I am unable to log on to my website. Whenever I try it just comes up with this – I can’t actually get to the wp-login page.

WP-Login has a BOATLOAD of well documented issues.. If you’re using it, DUMP IT FAST!!
WP-FLogin is everything that WP-Login should have been to begin with.. Because faina09 (the author of WP-FLogin) took the time to fix EVERYTHING wrong that’s ALWAYS been wrong with WP-Login..
Original author doesn’t appear to have plans to fix this plugin!!
Bottomline is WP-Login is BROKEN.. It flat out just doesn’t work the way it should.. Period.. Read the posts in the support forum about this plugin.. It has MANY issues!!!
The current author promised months ago to fix this plugin.. Not only has he not fixed this plugin, he has since removed his site’s support forum, page comments, and ANY reports on his website of this plugin’s MANY shortcomings.. (His WP-Login page would give you the false impression that this plugin is working with NO indication that the author himself acknowledged that there are serious functional issues with this plugin)
I fixed most of the issues to have this plugin working.. contact me [ email redacted ]
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-login/
debug.log reports 3 issues:
Undefined index: page in …/test/wp-content/plugins/wp-login/wp-login.php has_cap is called with a deprecated argument (‘read’)
has_cap is called with a deprecated argument (‘edit_posts’)
Have you stop developing this plugin?
I must replace style.php with a static css file to have the plugin working. Obviously this lead to reducted features.
Hi,
I’m setting up a private website and therefore would like to have this functionality sit within an area of my front-page.php file.
Is there any php code I can use to do this?
Thanks
https://www.mysite.com/myblog/ is how my WordPress site is setup.
This plugin seems to assume that my WordPress site is in the top level root of the site.. It doesn’t look in the blog folder for my blog and therefore not only does the login page preview not work, neither does my themed login page.
The login page preview directs me to https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php instead of https://www.mysite.com/myblog/wp-login.php
What gives??
This plugin is create a login.php page and it seems that an old hack is still working…
Username: admin Password: admin
Can we do something to change this?
the Lost Password? link below the login form goes to the wrong URL.
then if you try to log in unsuccessfully, the error returns above the login form with the correct URL for Forgot Password (the one below the login form persists with the WRONG one).
clicking on the correct Forgot Password link brings up the email field, and filling it out returns the login form again.
problem is that no password recovery email is sent.
