Many logging plugins (e-mail logs, http request logs, etc.) offer a feature that prevents logs from being stored indefinitely in the database. For example, by setting a maximum retention period.
We sometimes use your plugin, but it doesn’t offer this option. Do you have any plans to develop this?

I used a filter to filter “TO” and nothing is shown in the table. But the JSON I received from backend shows 1 row but data array is empty. I am 100% sure the row is there because I used sql client to check the row.

Problem
The current version displays the whole email message content which will take up a lot of vertical space, especially if the user is sending HTML emails.

Possible solution
Cut the mail message content after two lines or number of characters and make it expandable on click.

I like your plugin for sites where no attachments are sent. I have one issue while using it for our shops. Therefore I’m requesting a feature. ??

Could you please add the non-image-library attachments also to the log?
Just display the name/path of the attachments.

Also it would be useful if the names of the attachments could be displayed in the list view so there’s no need to view each mail separately when looking for a problem.

This might be a plugin conflict but I’m getting emails looking like HTML code when resending HTML emails, ie Gravity Forms emails.

Good plugin. A few suggestions:

– The hoover text when no items are selected are incorrect for the forward and resend buttons. They both say ‘Delete’
– Move the Sent date up (so more to the left) in the overview. It is one of the most important columns to find a message.

The WP Mail log is not logging the emails being send by AMELIA booking plugin.
Emails notificiations have been setup with SMTP.

While using, I discovered a quite strange error. When your plugin is active there will be a conflict in the library iris() that makes all plugins using this library get js error, for example WPBakery Page Builder or with our plugins. Let me explain more about this error, it only occurs when the user modify the color option of another plugin, like with the “WP Bakery Page Builder”, it happens in any editor page -> edit Element and you’ll see it in the Inspect/Console.. Hopefully my message helps and it can be fixed soon. Looking forward to your reply.

I’ve installed WP Mail Log an when it’s active, WPBakery Page Builder plugin starts having issues, it loses ability to add rows and other elements in it.

there seems to be some conflict when enabling your plugin.
I only noticed this when installing the pro version of Admin Menu Editor.

The screen “Tweaks” of Admin Menu Editor Pro did not load properly and it threw a lot of errors (see screenshot).

I also noticed that something was a bit off on the “Theme” screen.

After I disabled your plugin everything worked normal as expected.

Probably I would like to see an opportunity to search the log and also to automatically delete old log entries after some time

recently the functionality to resend an email was added, which is very nice, but the sender of this ‘Resended email’ is ‘WordPress@<domainname>’ instead of the original sender email.

I’m seeing this error in our logs:

MysqlError: Table ‘wordpress_database_name.wp_4_email_log’ doesn’t exist

Makes me think that this plugin doesn’t know to add wp_4 to the call when logging email from an MU config.

Anyone know a similar plugin that would log emails sent from our WordPress?
