Hello,
The plugin is causing me problems with the blog images.
I would like to know if there is a way to exclude URLs or images.
Regards
]]>Hi. I’ve used this plugin for a while and it was working fine. But the latest update on Jan 3rd 2022 is broken! Looking at the code changes:
Debugging code was checked-in and debug code contains call to convert all images to webp. So even if cached image exist, it is still converted just so the debugging information is created. This causes high CPU load for nothing.
Additionally, the new version breaks the site if the conversion to webp fails. Previous versions were reverting back to using original images. New version returns a “false” url of “error” for the image which causes the site to not load images. The previous version correctly reverted back to original image if server could not convert image to webp.
The code to build the debugging variable $r should be disabled.
And all return values in the call to preg_replace_callback should return either the cached, converted image or original image.
Thank you for the other changes; but unfortunately, some changes in the latest version have broken this plugin.
Hi Francesco!
Yesterday I updated three plugins in a woocommerce store, and one of them was yours. A short time later I started to notice a lot of slowness and high CPU consumption on the server to the point of leaving the panel without navigation. So I disabled the plugins and enabled only the bare minimum and tested it until I found out that this one has the problem.
This only happens in this new version and at this time I left it disabled for a period of 24 hours. Please see if there is anything you can do. See in the image the moments when the plugin was active with high consumption.
Thank you very much!

2. If you delete from plesk folder of webp images, it only works only for new images. Existing are serving as jpg.

They now support webp formats.
]]>Hi Francesco!
I would like to suggest the possibility of implementing the option of choosing image quality, because for some products many details are lost due perhaps to a higher compression.
A big hug!

Tried on EasyWP sites but no luck.
May I know why?
]]>Hello,
I am experiencing some issues since I use this plugin and I want to know if there is the way to bupass them:
Hi Francesco!
First congratulations on the excellent work! I would like to leave a suggestion, if possible. When using the wp-rocket preload feature, the images that are loaded in the cache are in jpg, losing the main part of your plugin. I disabled the preload and everything is fine, but it is a very interesting feature to be used together.
A big hug!

Hello,
the last plugin update (1.2.6) seems not work fine. It is doesn’t create webp file. Is it a issue only on my website?
I rolled back to 1.2.4 and it works fine
I was eagerly waiting for an update to this. But since it was updated to v. 1.2.4 the colors of my WP theme are messed up. Images are fine, but the color scheme/palette doesn’t look correct: links that should be green now look blue, and the side bar, that should be light gray, now looks black.
We reinstalled the old version, and things went back to normal.
I’m using the theme ESCAPADE, and everything has been working very well until the update.
Any clue?
]]>Hi, it is breaking my site when i am trying to uninstall the plugin.
]]>my latest version of WP says that this plugin hasn’t been tested with it. I’m using it and it works well, but it worries me that it will not be updated. I understand that it takes time and $ to work on this, and I appreciate your work. But, still, I’d like to know if there are plans to update it in the near future.
Thanks

The plugin was working fine till last week. But recently, it stopped converting all jpg and png images to webp.
This is my website: https://www.payuoc.com
How to resolve this?
]]>Are the sizes of the images generated by the plugin device-dependent, or just what’s already registered in WP?
If the browser doesn’t support webp does it falls back to std. jpg?
Thanks.
