It simply works – fast and without up- and downloading to any service providers. The srcsets are gone but the browsers still load fewer MB. On one page Chrome transfers 2 MB instead of 4,7 MB before! Thank you Francesco!

While other webp plugins make it too complicated getting lost into options you are required to configure blindly, without knowing what you’re doing, this one is an easy plug-and-go solution, compatible with my caching and multilingual plugins (it displays the translated images properly, unlike others). Why can’t be everything this easy? I’m really impressed. Bravo!

I don’t have to do anything, not need setting anything. Everything is automated: images are converted and saved to wp-content, url are rewrited from .png/.jpg to .webp. That’s all I needed!
