With this plugin activated, the erooms plugin from Stylemixthemes crashes due to the Guzzle in this plugin being out of date. Deactivating Duplicator allows us to use the eroom plugin.
Please investigate and advise if a fix will be developed. This plugin is useless at the moment…but we need it!

I saw if the Export File Name was left blank that the plugin would generate a name thus preventing overwriting. When I tried that I got a message that “Something went wrong!”.
Would you be able to get this bug fixed?
Thanks in advance

]]>I have two hosting accounts at SiteGround. I had to move a WordPress site from one to the other because of space issues. I backed up the WordPress site with WordPress Backup & Migration, and reluctantly deleted the site, because I couldn’t have two hosting sites with the same URL.
I created the new hosting site, installed WordPress, had full functionality in the blank site, disabled the plugins, installed the WordPress Backup & Migration plugin, and activated it.
At this point everything was still OK. Then I restored my old site.
Once restored, I can see the site but I can’t access wp-admin. It says I haven’t got the right to. It accepts my user name and password but doesn’t get me to a functional dashboard.
To be clear, I’m not changing service providers. I’m moving from one hosting package to another in the same account.
It feels like the rights to the /wp-admin folder didn’t get set properly. Everything works from a public user standpoint.
Help! Please! Thanks in advance.

Hi,
In my first website import from a domain to another, no images were imported correctly, they exist in the library but don’t show anything. Also, if I try to access them via their url, I get an Internal Server Error.
It’s my first time trying this plugin, so there’s probably something I’m missing.
What might be happening here?
Thanks in advance!

I am running Windows 10 64 bit Home edition. I am running Bitnami Xampp with PHP version 7 in it. I have been running WordPress version 6.01, with the latest updated version of the (free Elementor plugin). If further details are needed in order to proceed, please respond back.
I am experiencing a critical bug in the free version of the WordPress Backup & Migration plugin, which appears to be the most size efficient WordPress website backup and restore plugin that I can find for free on the WordPress plugins database. I have taken screenshots of all that is happening, if someone can send me some electronic details that I can post them to.
What is happening is that the Import (“Restore”) phase is failing, via a successful upload of a (free WordPress Backup & Migration) .zip backup archive file which doesn’t look like it has any errors.
When the Upload is complete, a new notifying window is raised to the foreground, that gets to the message ‘File has fetched from the server, now importing the file….’ .At this point, everything silently drops out, and the misspelled error message, in red, is put in the top left corner:
‘Somehting went wrong! Can’t open zip file.’
by which point the import crashes, and the plugin fails to work to restore the website inside the backup .zip file.
I have not lost my website, because I have it successfully backed up via a different backup plugin that does work. However that plugin is not size efficient enough for what I need it to do with WordPress itself.
I need this plugin particularly to work, because the resulting backup and restore back things much smaller, for capacity’s sake. Can someone reply to me on this, fix this bug, and get the free version of this plugin running under these circumstances, so that I can use it at all?
]]>Restoring from Import File Problem.
I have installed 64 bit WordPress for Windows 10 64 bit. I have it running and am logged in, with no problem. I have updated it so that its version number now reads: 5.9.1 from the lower right corner. I have deactivated and deleted every plugin that WordPress comes with by default. I have then installed the free version of ‘WordPress Backup & Migration’ plugin.
I have a website archive that I need to store.
From the Dashboard, I have gone:
[Dashboard\WordPress Migration\Backup & Migration\Import/Restore\…]
I have clicked on ‘Drop files here or click to upload’.
Now, my file has been renamed from the original date and time, and is now named 8.zip. I have Right clicked on the file, and selected ‘Unblock’ and clicked ‘Apply’.
From ‘Drop files here or click to upload’, I have selected 8.zip and pressed ‘Open’. I watch a jerky blue progress bar jerk its way from the left until the right, until the blue progress bar is completed.
The Import area now reads: ‘Drop files here or click to upload
(tick) Upload Completed.
Please click on the Import button to proceed.
8.zip
Remove’
I then click the blue ‘Import’ button.
A brief yellow message appears and is taken away, too fast for me to read. What is left is a message at the upper right of the screen, stating, with a spelling error: ‘Somehting went wrong! Can’t open zip file.’
How can I make the plugin progress past this point, restoring all the resources that were originally put in my .zip file, and which still seem to be there, intact? Certainly be means of the free version of the plugin, ‘WordPress Backup & Migration’? I must only rely on the free version of the plugin, and I need to relload all of my web page resources! How can I get this working? I believe that my 8.zip file is not corrupted. If necessary, I can email 8.zip to you, so that you can try and check it out, get it working, and reply back to me with what I need to successfull do. How can I get all of my website resources back? Can you reply to me with an email address? 8.zip is 701 MB big. Can someone please reply to this urgent problem, so that I can load my pages in and get going again, please?
Hi, please help me disable the recent plugins I installed in this site. I cannot access the admin page or any page that would make me at least open the site. It is free hosted as well by iFastNet. Please help me retrieve it. The previous username and password does not work also.

]]>Hello I am trying to transfer a site from one host to another. There seems to be some encoding problem.
I am importing the database and when it finishes all Greek characters are messed up and some queries are not executed mainly on wp_option table.
I double checked that both the old and the new database use the same encoding. I also checked the SQL files in an editor and they seem fine.
I tried to import the options SQL file directly in database but it showed error with Character encoding and indeed some insert queries didn’t execute. Do you have any idea what may be causing the issue?
hi, thanks for this great plugin.
I would like to know this:
1. How do I configure the plugin for a multisite network?
2. How do I restore a subsite of the multisite network?
3. Can it be recovered by subsite, without having to reset the entire multisite network?
4. You can only upload a 1MB backup file, and they recommend making the changes to the configuration file in cpanel, but should this file be from the subsite or the one from the multisite network?
5. Can I schedule daily copies to be kept locally? since I only see that there are options to schedule automatic copies in google drive, ftp, etc. but not locally. to do it locally it is only manual.
Thank you for your attention.
By testing a SFTP destination I’ve got the following error in the log
syntax error, unexpected ‘new’ (T_NEW) in /usr/local/pear/share/pear/Crypt/RSA.php

]]>How to get a previous version of the plugin. It no longer works with version 5.8 and immediately goes into error ?
]]>Hi,
Just did a couple of tests migrations with the plugin but sadly it doesn’t seem to work.
After the import to the destination site all themes/plugins/uploads seem missing.
I took a look on the server content using FTP and i noticed that all the files are there but, instead of creating the right folders to put them into, the plugin renamed the files including the path in the file’s name.
Example:
In wp-content/themes It did not create the folder “oceanwp” containing “functions.php”
instead it created a file named “oceanwp\functions.php
the import of the DB seemed to work though.
Thanks for the help!
]]>The cloned site looks all right but I got an import error and while trying to delete the file form the archive it says “not found/incomplete”. Also, it has created an extra database, different than the one created on WP installation. So it’s difficult to understand if something is broken behind the scenes.
]]>I have used this plugin before and I cannot remember how I did it… this time I’m just looking at a file in media library with no idea what to do with it.
You should bother to add just a few lines to your plugin description, mentioning how to “execute” the file, as you call it.

]]>Hi, I just installed this plug-in to my site and exported our data. I was hoping to set up a staging area for our site and I’m not sure how to go about setting up another WordPress instance. Would I need to buy another WordPress business plan for that staging area? Or is there another option?
Some of the technical issues we’ve been having have been related to various plug-ins causing issue, so if we can’t use plug-ins I’m not sure how helpful a staging area would be.
