know it seems there is no longer support for this, a real shame. But maybe someone can answer my question.

Does anyone know of a way to use your own chosen font instead of the default one? Ideally I would just use the same font as on the rest of my site and actually save a bit of bandwidth so not download any unnecessary fonts

I am using the mb.miniAudioPlayer plugin along with FacetWP. When FacetWP refreshes it’s results, the mb.miniAudioPlayer skin is no longer active but instead the standard HTML5 player is shown. I know that I need to re-init the player after the Ajax refresh, but I just can’t find the correct function to call.

Referring to https://facetwp.com/help-center/developers/javascript-reference/facetwp-loaded/ I tried to init the mb.miniAudioPlayer on the “facetwp-loaded” event but what JS function exactly do I need to call? I tried initializeMiniAudioPlayer() with no luck.

My installation of mb.miniAudioPlayer version 1.9.7 is acting strangely. The WordPress plugin screen for this plugin has a warning that it is untested on my version of WordPress. I am on WordPress 6.1.1. I have deactivated mb.miniAudioPlayer so that the rest of my site works properly. Here are the specifics of what I observed before deactivating the plugin:

1. Multiple instances of the player were appearing on the page.
2. Another plugin I am using, PDF Embedder Premium, quit working entirely.

I use mb.miniAudioPlayer in WooCommerce products. My site uses Themco X.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I have also had the issue of download button disabled on mobile.

I followed the instructions here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-download-button-on-mobile-doesnt-appear/ and still did not work.

So I also changed the allowDownloadOnMobile setting in the minified version of the script jquery.mb.miniAudioPlayer.min.js

Search for allowDownloadOnMobile:!1 and change to allowDownloadOnMobile:!0

Don’t forget that this change will be over written if the plugin updates.

jQuery.fn.bind () in jquery.mb.miniAudioPlayer.js, jquery.mb.miniAudioPlayer.min.js

This bind method has been deprecated, so I replaced all the relevant parts to “.on”. ,and Replace “.unbind” to “.off”.

Is there anything else I need to fix?

as in subject, i want to setup default autoplay=true so when a post opens the player in it automatically starts play the music.

The MP3s that I downloaded have extra characters in their filename.

e.g. “filename__=1.mp3”

It seems to be a query string but I can’t find where to delete it.

I already have a radio player bar, but it stops everytime that I navigate. Do you provide a field where I can just insert my player link and don’t have the problem mentioned?

Hi. I am trying to remove the mb audioplayer assets from pages that don’t use it to improve page performance. I am trying to using “Asset Cleanup” plugin to do that but it breaks the page with JS Console errors.

The page link added to this Q is for a page that is broken, then rest of the site loads all MBA assets as normal.

When I stop the mba assets loading on a page, this causes JS errors and my sticky header/search box stops working.

The assets I stop loading are:

Hi, I am using your plugin to listen to small pieces of the CDs that my client sells. I customized the css to show only the play and download button.

My client asked me to inhibit the downloading of songs from unregistered users, like this:

users must see the download button, but clicking on it must open a popup with a login form.

I used popup builder to create the pop-up (which triggers onclick on some classes) and I added the following code to the functions.php file

I’m trying to get mb.miniAudioPlayer to display mp3 filenames consistently. Sometimes it will display them as they appear on the server, with spaces (yes I know this is bad; it wasn’t me) and sometimes spaces are replaced with %20. Not sure why this happens sometimes but not all the time.

When I do use hyphens in place of spaces the filename is correctly displayed (with hyphens), but I prefer a shorter, more descriptive name to appear in the player.

For example, instead of “MIO-Wk-102419-MaggieKoerner-NoBreaks.mp3” I’d rather see just “Maggie Koerner”. I tried selecting “Get the title from meta-data:” in Settings but that just seems to append the title after the filename.

Before I start renaming and re-uploading hundreds of MP3 files, does anyone have any suggestions?

The MP3 on the above post plays just fine, but when we click on the download button, the resulting file is something like 7 bytes in size and contains just a short string of text – it’s not an MP3.

This seems to be the case for any of the links hosted directly at libsyn.com.

On other pages of this site, where the link is passed through another service (chtbl.com), the downloads work. Example here: https://www.debraprinzing.com/2019/11/06/episode-426-ponderosa-plus-our-state-focus-tennessee/

The people at libsyn say that everything is fine since the track plays. That something related to the downloader is causing the problem.

To me it looks like the download is pulling some kind of wrapper or pointer file rather than the actual mp3.

Any ideas?
