Whenever i start a new WordPress site, it’s one of the first plugins i install, almost automatically. It saves a huge amount of time.

After reading the Grant Norwood 1 star review, I was wondering if it’s safe to download this plugin or not.
The moderation should let the plugin author reply and explain, so everybody like myself, who read it and it’s a bit confused, to trust on this. On the other hand, I believe if WP repository staff test this to let be here safer to everyone.
An enlightening on this about WP staff would be nice.
Thanks.

We recently were notified by several clients that their scheduled posts weren’t publishing after WP 4.2.2 update was put in place.
I hadn’t seen this issue before, and upon further research, it looks like this has been an issue with wp-cron.php off and on for a while. We haven’t had any issue with any of the sites till just now, and I found this plugin which seems to fix the issue.
Hopefully one day WP will get to the root of this issue and fix it, but until then, this plugin does what it says it does.

When, on my blog, is programmed more posts, the nightmare that were not published correctly, is one obsession fo me: but now i’m sure, with this plugin installed, that everything works perfectly.
Thanks!

I tried the beta version of this plugin, and I find it really good, and very well structured: congratulations for this idea!

Unable to activate. Upon TRYING to activate, get an immediate crash and plugin reverts to inactive status. error code returned is WITHIN PLUGIN file(s). Sure, could be conflict with a plugin I use, but need them all and cannot spend inordinate amount of time isolating the problem.

The author chose to echo a bunch of garbage to every HTML page as comments so he can use Google searches to track install base, and potentially other secret [ profanity redacted ] using multiple md5() hashing, which is a tell-tale sign of malware. He probably charges money for a “pro” version to remove it, too … it’s sketchy at best, just plain malicious at worst.
Stay away from this plugin and just fix your cron, you’ll be so much happier when things are working and you aren’t allowing this plugin to dump garbage to your page.

Thankfully, this plugin 1s the solution, and all you have to do is install it!

Great plugin, solved missed schedule post for my site.
Thanks u very much…
]]>Rating: 5 stars
Thanks for this handy fix! I’d like to be able to reduce the frequency of checks, to save overhead, since I only schedule posts occasionally. Is there much overhead?

I’ve been hunting for a fix as my host doesn’t allow wp_cron to work in the usual way. This is a super simple fix, no coding required solution.
Thank you so much!

I misunderstood how the code worked in my original review. It’s not so bad on second look, after the developer pointed out my error below.
<s>This plugin probably does what it says it does, but it’s kinda brutal on the server as it seems to update the database on every page load.</s>
