The links associated with what should be buttons in the admin bar show as text, and there are no buttons. So there’s text all over the screen and it looks very garbled.

Site went offline – what was it actually doing?
Eventually got back in, and tried again – what on EARTH is THAT meant to be? unreadable garbage..
Deactivated and deleted.
And the errors don’t go away when you click to other pages within the admin section. I installed on a test site with the twenty-twelve theme.
If you do respond back, I’ll do a re-install of the plugin and copy/paste those errors for you. Sorry I didn’t catch them the first time through. However, the plugin totally broke my website and my instinct was to uninstall as quickly as possible.
Appreciate the effort and I’m looking forward to the next version.

I deactivated this plugin but the bar still shows.
Also, I was hoping there would be more options about the display of the login. Ideally, I’d like to have a utility nav in the upper right corner because that’s more familiar.
I’d also like the form to be displayed in the bar with an option not to display.

]]>I came across this plugin, then found your site regarding the various code options for the admin bar, and I was wondering if you can possibly explain in laymen’s terms how best to implement some of those snips into 1 file so I can place it in the wp-content/mu-plugins folder and make network-wide changes to the bar?
I already have the folder set up for the domain mapping plugin, I just want to make some adds and subtractions to the bar for “subscribers only,” and I just can’t seem to wrap my head around what’s the best route to make it happen. I’m not a programmer by trade.
If you respond, I can summarize what I’m trying to do, and hopefully it will help any others on how to utilize some of those great ideas you wrote about.
Thanks in advance.

]]>Hi, I just installed the Admin bar along with the login Ajax plugin. I redirected all traffic for login to:
https://www.petsitclick.com/customer_portal.a5w?company=be051f43a22540d082224e460b608a5a
it is working fine in chrome but in explorer (I’ve tried many computers with different versions of ie) it goes directly to wordpress login. Is this an Admin bar problem or Ajax plugin? Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong or how I can fix this?

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
The plugin works I guess. i don’t know what I am missing if I can’t view the admin page.
Cheers
