I got the news page to work fine. But when i insert the widet on my home page for “recent news”, it works fine to show the recent news. But jsut above the footer, it starts showing all the news articles. Any idea what I can change to stop this?

I cannot fugure out why my news listing is showing most of the news story, rather than just an introduction to each item – or even better just the title of the news story.
I have selected “up to 100 letters” but most of the news story appears and the news listing page just looks untidy.
I had cut down earlier news items to try and accommodate this problem, but that’s not practical going forward.
Is there a way to fix this, or is this just how the plugin works?
]]>In my template the call to get_sidebar() comes before the content. This can’t be changed due to template layout.
index.php for my template looks like this:

Problem:
This plugin, during the call to get_sidebar() wipes out the post data for the current page and replaces it with content from the news list. I have tested this with the Twenty Eleven theme, and if the get_sidebar() call is moved earlier then the same bug occurs (in their theme change sidebar-page.php to see this behaviour).

Good plugin, thank you ! A good idea with the popup. Though, a few notices :
1- When we enter our news, it seems h1, h2 or h3… are not taken in account since the text is in ul li tag.
2- When we enter the “Read more” tag line, when the popup opens and we click to the “Read more” link, it leads to a broken page.
A fix for these please ?

I have latest wordpress version and I am trying to use this addon. It is probably not fully compatible with newest wordpress version because even if I choose to display three blocks of news (for example), it keeps displaying ALL….
Is it possible to have an update and test it?

I was really happy when I finally found this plugin. I have searched for a long time for a plugin like this.
But unfortunately it looks not to work so well.
Often when I visit my page the news has shrunk. All fit snugly over each other, then when refreshing the webpage again, it might be ok.
Thats a pity , because it sure is a nice and easy to use plugin.

I added the shortcode [WPNEWSBULLETIN] but it does not create the function the widget does – no popup, no scrolling of the news.

Thanks for a great plugin. I’m using the plugin here: hely.fi. The theme is responsive and works fine with mobile device. But when you click and open news bulletin on mobile device it doesn’t work properly. Is there a fix for this?

Until I click on any of my mainmenu, the plugin seems to be working fine, but as soon as i click on any menu for example, about us, services, excetra, the news created by the plugin is seen in every page.
Do you have any solutions for this, I am using 3.7.1 version

I am using your plugin as Player Transfer, you can see the area, seem the height is too short. I tired to change the position to other area, the same. So, i think it comes from plugin original.
