I have created a new page and am attempting to add the following shortcode: [gen-usts-gallery-search]
When I click on Update, I get an “Updating failed” message.
This only started happening after I upgraded to WordPress 5.2.2 from a version before Gutenberg.
Please help… Thank you!
]]>Please see images.
One is with the search plugin activated and one with it deactivated. How Can I fix this?
When its broken, the content is all up in the header, under the menu and logo area.

For example:
“one two three”
one and two and three
I can’t seem to grasp the logic in it.
Many thanks
]]>Does your plugin use the Lightbox / grid layouts supplied by NextGen Pro for the search results or does it use its own?
Obviously it’s not going to look good if a gallery pages uses one lightbox and the same image from search results uses a different one!
]]>Does this plugin work with the eCommerce and Nextgen gallery Pro?
I would like for my customers to be able to purchase from the search results using the pro lightbox.
I love how amazing this addon makes searching for a photo. There’s just one suggestion I’d like to make and hopefully it’s possible because it would make this addon perfect! On the search results page, instead of the pictures linking to a lightbox, you can put in some settings on the pictures somewhere to link to the attachment page or an alternative link. That way when a picture is searched, you can click on it and get more info or go to another page entirely.
I hope this is possible, because it would be amazing!

After test, the menu does not show up in Mulitisite.

]]>Seem to be having some issues after updating the “WP NextGen Gallery Search”. When I’m editing a page in Visual Editor, I can’t change the tab from “Visual” to “Text” and the formatting toolbar gets fixed at the top of the page when I scroll down. The “Publish/Update” button is red. The problem disappears after I deactivate your plugin.
Is there any solution for this?
]]>I could see us upgrading to the full version soon, but I can’t get the free version to work. I put the shortcodes on the page of our gallery and then when I view the page, I get this error:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
No matter what page I put this search shortcode on, it redirects the page to this address: https://mysite.com/gen-gallery-search/
Any help is appreciated.

]]>great plugin!
but how to show result per page!?
in 180 result , i want to show 20 result per page!
plz help me!
I just installed the free version. Using the short code [gen-usts-gallery-search-box] produces the following error —
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/jjfroese/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/olsen/header.php:2) in /home/jjfroese/public_html/wp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1174
Page can be found at https://jjfroese.com/wp/misc/ – love to get this working and then purchase the Pro version.
Thanks!
]]>Having trouble implementing this search, shortcodes are just displayed on page.
I’m following the information in the description on the plugin page as it is the only reference I’ve found.
[usts-gallery-search-box] ->this is for search box with search button. from here you can search with your search string.
[usts-gallery-search] ->this is for result page. search result will be shown in this shortcode page/post. and search result will have image slide show.
But when I add these shortcodes to a page, they do nothing…
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-nextgen-gallery-search/
]]>1) When I use the shortcodes given for this plugin in the instructions:
[usts-gallery-search-box]
[usts-gallery-search]
They do not work. BUT, the search page that the plugin automatically sets up, puts in these shortcodes:
[gen-usts-gallery-search-box]
[gen-usts-gallery-search]
2) After finding the new shortcodes, it works, but it is looking for the images in the wrong place. For instance, it is looking for images located here:
domain.com/wp-content/gallery/ornamental-residential/
The problem is, the gallery folder is called “Ornamental-Residential”. The search/plugin is changing the capital letters to lower case in the folder name.
How do I keep it from doing this? Otherwise I have to rename folders and/or make new folders and move/copy over 2500 files in different folders.
The test page I am working with is here:
https://suburbansteelsupply.com/gallery-tag-search-test/
Search with “rail” to see what I am talking about.
3) Search with “gate” to see how it works when I put the images where it is looking for them. The thumbnails come up, but when you click on an image you just get it enlarged, not a slideshow.
FYI, the built-in NextGen tag cloud works flawlessly.

great plugin!
But there’s one thing i just could not get into:

Very interested in this front end search for NexGen gallery. Just beginning to use the free version. Wondering if this version (or Premium) has Dashboard options for thumbnail dimensions (they are distorted on my test site) and for hiding the captions in search results?
Thanks
