Hi, tried adding wp-night-mode class to the body but it return the wp night mode toggle only in the frontend. No other content, only toggle.

is there anyway to activate the night mode by default in a template for specific page/archive/post?

Hi, my website’s default body color is white, so I got a dark color logo so it can be visible on white.

When the dark mode is enabled, the body color changed to black and the logo stays dark and it becomes invisible.

How to change the logo path when the dark mode enabled?

On my page, all images in a post grid disappear (https://www.gemeingut.org) in night mode. Any hints why this happens? I use WP bakery builder and its post grid.

It looks like your plugin doesn’t work on AMP pages, I don’t see the button in the AMP menu, and all I see is the shortcode for the button.
Why?

and – automatically turn on dark mode based on the local users time?
and somehow (maybe with cookies) save if a user selects dark mode?

I’ve been having problems with the modification of some items, in elementor we work with sections, but we also have some subsections, these are not being able to change the background.

I’m also having problems with some span texts, because I use different colors but when I change it, it only sets one color.

What if I don’t want dark to be the default? is it configurable?

You can do a lot with it, I have only one issue that I want to fix.

But not sure if possible.

I have a transparent logo on my home page that is in a slide.
If I place it as a picture the logo stays visible and you will see the logo in dark mode. Just as my site logo on top.

But when I use dark mode on the slide the whole slide disappears.
It’s probably because he sees the slide as background and not as picture.

Is there a fix for this or just not possible the way I want it … that the logo stays and the room outside changes with the darkmode transparent?

This is my first time using your plugin and so far it has been a great help. I have a few different CSS changes I want to make and after several unsuccessful attempts on my own I thought I turn here.

I am using elementor and most of my changes revolve around background-color on sections. For example, the footer changes to the same color as the background even though it is not the background color. How can I change the footer background color to #000000?

In all of my attempts, I tried entering the CSS in the Elementor custom CSS panel, the customizer custom CSS panel, and in the custom CSS panel on the pro plugin.

Can you give me some guidance on what I am doing wrong?

I am using the ewebot theme and have set the colors of dark mode of body, text etc to different colors. But whenever I am turning the dark mode on, its just overlays the whole page with the whatever body color I have chosen. No other materials can be seen.

I’m playing around with the additional CSS to tweak dark mode to work on the website. I’ve managed to manually change the header colours but content on the page isn’t changing (enable dark mode by clicking About menu, then the blue toggle).

It’s built with visual composer – can you suggest a way to actually apply to the edgtf-wrapper or body of the page and exclude certain elements?

So the idea is to change the icon to moon / sun for dark or normal mode. I don’t know how to retrieve the cookie value, the following code works except after clicking on a link while in dark mode, it loads the moon icon

Thanks for making this amazing plugin. I installed it and spent some time customising it, but I cannot get it to change the background colour (the colour that you need to select via Customise → Colours). So even though the header, body and footer are all black, there’s a gap between the body and footer that is still white.

And also, the menu text is not change when dark mode is toggle on.
