What database entries that needs to be manually removed when I need to uninstall/delete the plugin? Just guessing there will be leftover entries.

First of all, thank you for the plugin! It works great!

It does exactly what it says and removes dates on my posts according to the timeframe I set.

My only concern is that the dates are still showing in Google search results and I’ve had the plugin active for several weeks now. I’m sure Google has crawled my site several times since I’ve installed it.

Would you be able to provide me with any info as to why it’s still showing in the SERPs?

This used to work on my site and isn’t anymore. It’s not working on any of my posts. I have included one of the blog posts, but it’s not working on any of them.

I’m on the latest version of WP and the latest of Divi.

Couple of quick questions and firstly thanks for this plugin.

1) Can I access the ‘post’ pages coding to remove the word “on” in the appearance >> editor area of the dashboard or is this code elsewhere? If yes, which template is the code in within the editor area?

2) By all accounts the schema mark-up for date display can be adjusted to hide the date from robots. Do you have any idea how this can be achieved? e.g. where to find the schema and which code to adjust.

Hello, I installed the plugin a while ago and it works wonders. It did what it’s supposed to do. However, I’ve realized that my niche really likes to see the date it was published, so I want to go back to having the dates showing on the SERPS.

I deactivated and uninstalled the plugin but the dates didn’t come back. How can I make them come back? Thank you for the awesome plugin!

The plugin works ok but when I search for the articles on google the date still shows. Should I wait a while?

I checked the CSS file and I see the class “time” is there. That class is used to show the dates in the Stockholm theme. But still this plugin is not working for my site.

Installed this plugin on a Divi child theme and it is still showing the dates on individual posts more than 1 year old (i set it for 365 days). Please help!

I’ve installed the plugin yesterday on my site at https://www.aesirsports.de. Articles that are older than a year (365 days) should not display the date, but the plugin doesn’t seem to work with my theme.

On my site – the date of the post is deleted. The plugin removes it, it works.

But! When I look at the search results, I see my website, my post page, and see the date of the post.

I want that in the SERPs is not displayed the date of my post.

Thanks for your latest post (re-post)re: that your plugin only works for the individual posts and not for the homepage/archive. I’m a newbie, so sorry for the confusion. I’d like to avoid all dates for the posts and homepage, if possible. Are there themes that allow this or is there some CSS I can add? I really like Hemingway. Thanks for your plug-in too — very nice.

I watched your video (https://benandjacq.com/wordpress-plugin-wp-old-post-date-remover/) and was able to remove the dates from both the homepage and individual posts entirely by using this:

}

Unfortunately that has also taken away the “X comments” part, too, and I’d prefer to use your plugin if you could possibly add the functionality?

I want to hide dates from category and archive pages. I know your plugin is for hiding only old dates but I want to hide all dates. I read your post where you said hiding all dates on category pages is possible instead of hiding only old dates.

Hi,

I am trying to remove the dates on the posts on loveandrespectnow.com. I set the date to 1 days, which should then remove the date from all posts as the most recent post date was in 2014. I am using WordPress version 4.5. Is this page technically a “blog archive” as you’ve stated in previous posts?
