I use Photonav v.1.1.0 which has a “PhotoNav” button (beside “Add Media” button) . By pressing this button it takes you to the Media catalogue to choose and insert a panoramic picture with chosen parameters.
This button does not show up in the Editor after v.1.1.0
This might sound awfully stupid but I tried using the shortcode with many sources (flickr, facebook, wordpress, standard web) and it just doesn’t show anything. Could https be an issue? I followed the installation instructions but can’t get it running.
How to analyse the issue?
Thanks.
Hello, I’ve just discovered this plugin and it’s a real gem – does pretty much exactly what I was looking for!
It works great on desktop browsers, but is there any chance to up the handling on mobile devices?
I’m able to tap into the image area on the phone & tablet but the movement is rather choppy and navigating the pano that way is awkward.
There is a large white area on the left when the scroller works in IE. This only happens during the first load, and F5 fixes the issue.
You can view the problem here:

Thank you for this plugin, it’s simple and it works well.
I’ve been using photonav for years on my website without issue. Lately I noticed that all photonav screens are now black. I turned on the developer java console and saw the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function
It’s complaining about this resulting wordpress line:

Any ideas?

Hey Great plug-in I’ve been searching for a plug-in of this nature for a while. I just have major question.
Can this plug-in or each individual image be coded to make it responsive/mobile friendly and if so could someone please point me in the right direction as to were I would find some documentation explaining the process!
Thanks,
Fish
Greetings,
Thank you for the excellent plugin.
When I first started using this a couple months ago I didn’t notice this issue, but is it possible that the CSS has changed to use “container” as the img class?
This is an issue as alot of themes use “container” already.
Would it be possible to change your use of the CSS class “container” to something more distinct?

Hi,
Is there a way to choose the direction when the image is moving automatically (animate=1)? It always goes from right to left why? How can I have it moving from left to right, it makes more sense to me as the images I want to show are to be discovered from left to right.
Hello! I have just updated this plugin, and noticed an improvement in general, but for some reason, the image leaves a blank space on the very bottom when clicking and dragging it with the mouse. Here is an example:
Was there a new feature added that I haven’t looked at? Thank you very much!
Hello,
I installed your plugin on a multisite. The icon in the post editor is only shown to the administrator but not for a “normal” user. My guess the capability has to be set. If so, what is the name of the capability you are using?
Kind regards,

Hi,
I use WP-PhotoNav for a long time with parameter mode=drag360.
Since WP3.6 the infinite scroll of drag360 is not working anymore.
The picture starts and after 1 round ends at exact the same part of the picture and also you can’t drag it further.
Se at: https://warenthin-test.de/warenthin/panorama-des-sees
My code is [photonav url='/wp-content/uploads/panorama/panorama_see.jpg' mode=drag360 animate=1 container_width=600 container_height=400]
Can you help me?
Thanks, Thomas
Hello! I’ve been having problems with this plugin, and I think it only happens on Google Chrome. I have a panoramic image that is not 360, and I want it to start rotating from the left until the image ends. However, for some reason, the first time I see it in Chrome it does the exact opposite, starting off with no image and this one sliding in from the right. It’s weird that it doesn’t do it anymore when I hit reload, unless I hit Ctrl+F5. Has this happened to anyone? Is there something I’m doing wrong in the shortcode?
Hello,
I have a few dragable images set up on a site. Looks great in all except IE. In IE I am viewing in compabibility mode because my page needs this. When I view the photonav component shows up across the entire screen instead of just within frame. “Hidden” isn’t registering.
I’m getting this in the javascript console…
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘photoNav’
How do I use click and drag instead of mouse hover moving?
I would appreciate that much more as moving with hover can be chaotic. Or am I getting the description wrong and it does not have click and drag function?
Thanks.

Hi, I installed the plugin in the WP 3.1.1. I know it is not supported yet.
The image does not show up. I think that the javascript is not working correctly. The container element does not get the
style=" ... display: block"
In the debug mode of the site I got something like this:
photoNav is undefined function …
(function ($) {
$.fn.photoNav = function(settings) {
and the function createPhotoNav
is not called.
Is it possible to make this nice plugin working with the version 3.1.1.?
How could I help?
thank you
Andrej
When activating WP-Photonav 0.9 in WordPress 3.1, builtin WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE) stops working. After deactivating WP-Photonav it works again. WP-Photonav seems to be incompatible with 3.1
