I never managed to get the posts to integrate, but I dont need that anyway….for integrating the users table from phpbb, it works great.

No way to cross-post, useless.

Plugin is absolute garbage. Installation instructions were followed to the letter and it probably helps that I have a Comp Sci degree and yet all this plugin managed to do is break my WP install.

One word: Problems… Installed, follow the instructions, never get it to work… PHPBB 3.0.11
Finaly, I had to shut it off by DB in order to get WP to load again…

I followed the instructions precisely as written, and the plugin worked for me the first time. Nice work!
Since then, I’ve been making modifications to the plugins files, adding a modal dialog and reworking the user options box to suit my tastes. It has remained stable so far.
I do think, however, that the plugin should in the future address the issue of avatars not appearing correctly for post author biographies (I’ve coded up a hack here, for those who are interested).
Now, I’m probably going to get a fair amount of flak for this, but I feel that the author(s) of the plugin are somewhat…arrogant, rude and almost always absent. They offer very little support, and assume that all those who use their plugin are PHP experts.
So my message to the authors is: swallow that Greek/Italian/Mediterranean pride, and pay attention to your user’s needs.

Have been suffering an issue where the plugin will randomly deactivate itself. Requested help from the developer but I have not had a response, even after initially donating to remove advertising.
Sadly it seems this plugin is not maintained.
Suggest you stay away and look elsewhere.

It was working great with older WP versions, but now it just disables by itself, sometimes.

I followed instructions carefully and it worked first time. It is important to put the WP phpBB Bridge widget in your sidebar before activating the bridge (which is not the same thing as activating the plugin). The widget allows you log in and out. So it goes like this:
1. Activate plugin
2. Place widget in sidebar
3. Activate bridge
I REALLY like the fact that after users have logged in to the forum, they find they are automatically registered and logged in to my members only blog, so there’s only one username/password for them to remember.
I would like the option to remove the link to the blog control panel. I don’t want my users to have access to this.
ETA I managed to remove that link by editing wpbb_users_widget.php.
2nd ETA It’s also working fine with WP 3.5

Same problem. It redirects everything to phpBB login page and make wordpress broken.
i tried to install, deinstall and reinstall it about 12 times,

I followed the install instructions 6 times. Even deactivated my register plugin and another forum plugin. But this thing does not work. It redirects everything to phpBB and WordPress is gone. No access, nada.
I have to go to my ftp site and delete the plugin, then go to my database and remove the files for Bridge.
Think twice about using this.
