It seems all the same issues with the plugin that were present 10 – 12 months ago are still there (i.e. ‘Strict Standards’, the ‘PJAX toggle’ problem, the ‘Not Readys’, no additional info when ticking notices, etc.). Is it no longer being developed?
After optimizing one’s origin, one’s site and one’s edges, what this plugin hopes to accomplish is really the final speed frontier, so I do hope a stable version is in the pike.
Indeed, I (and I think a lot of other people) would actually pay for a stable version of what this plugin seeks, in the end, to accomplish.
I’ll cross my fingers!
]]>This seems to work well but I can’t use it because I don’t want to show the PJAX toggle to all my visitors, and when I uncheck all the notice boxes in the settings page, the toggle still appears on the site. Even after I empty all caches (via W3TC).
]]>Hi,
anyone know how to make it work with a Multisite ?
Hey,
For starters, awesome plugin, just found pjax on github, wanted it in WP, then found you plugin.
Just wondering if it’s possible to prevent the viewport from going back to the top of the page once it finishes loading in the new content ?
Cheers,
Sam
Hey,
According to the Log Deprecated Notices plugin, there is a deprecated call : “Incorrect Use of wp_enqueue_style() – Used in wp-content/plugins/wp-pjax/inc/WP-PJAX.php on line 46.”
Alternative suggested is: Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. This message was added in version 3.3.
Any chances for an update?
]]>I’m wondering if this plugin would be the right kind of hammer for my particular nail.
What I’m after is a way to selectively load individual widgets upon buttonclick. Imagine an accordion menu of hidden widgets. Until any one of those widgets are clicked to be displayed, none of their code will be loaded. So in effect, you could have a whole bunch of useful widgets available to your users, but they’d only add to the page load when actually used.
Could I achieve something like this with PJAX?
]]>Wow, this looks promising! Will monitor and help test!
Upon activation I get:
Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in C:\UniServer\www\wp351\wp-includes\pomo\mo.php on line 210
This is on a 3.5.1 WP with no other plugins.
]]>Hello, the plugin have a lot of options, some codes I need insert manually ?why no automatic with redo options?, I think the plugin should be have more explications, more recommendations, more cache plugins testing and have a error in the default configuration because load https://wptest.elmered.com/sitemap_index.xml in the sitemap, I think should be the website full URL, thanks
