I did what webstandardscss recommended in the previous post, but then I had duplicate output on the policy pages. So I removed the “return $content;” completely from the static_process function and now it seems it’s back to normal.
]]>Love this plugin and have been using for a while now.
Installed on brand new domain & new installation of WP 3.3
Default Policy Pages imported into WP Policies settings page OK
New Policy Page created into WP Policies settings page OK
Manage & Edit links on WP Settings Page get 404 Error
NONE of the Policy pages were created as new (hidden) pages under Pages Manager of WordPress.
Would love to have a fix please ??
]]>Neat plugin if it worked but:
Pages have no content
Pages cannot be Managed from plugin Options
Page links disappear in footer php link after editing in WP Page Editor, for example disable Comments.
Hi There
I have been looking for ages and trying to find where exactly I can amend the WP Policies, pages and their meta data as to change the link to make them ‘nofollow’.
I am at a loss as to where that can be done.
Could someone advise?
These are considered very important factors when Google is looking at your application of certain link parameters and this would be a useful addition to WP Policies if it was auto done in script somehow. I am not a coder so maybe possible or not. But if I do so manually that is fine but I need someone to point out where that can be applied.
Thanks in advance
Laurence
Several bugs but the author seems to have disappeared.
Makes a call to wp-admin/page.php which doesn’t exist. (should be post.php)
Makes multiple entries of policy pages if you’re not real carefull.
]]>If you do not have short tags enabled on your PHP install, this makes the plugin unusable. The author should have used the normal php opening tag thoughout. I went in and manually changed them (about 12 total).
After that, the menu looked nice, but then I discovered it simply DOESN’T work. Needs a 3.1 upgrade I suppose…
]]>I’ve found lots of php short tags (< ?) in static.php. It should not be used, as not all hosts support it.
]]>I really like this plugin and I am frustrated to distraction that I cannot get it to run on WP3. It doesn’t create its own pages, ‘manage’ doesn’t function and when you create pages for it and insert the relevant codes and invoke from footer.php, nothing shows up. I had this running on 2.9.2 so its really annoying that since I upgraded my WordPress I downgraded my public liability!!!
Are you going to update it to be compatible with WP3?
