The plugin page tells to add the following code to the theme.

The latest update seems to limit author page listing to posts which the author is the lead contributor (first in list of multiple authors). It did not previously do this.
The individual linked below is the host of our podcast with at least 156 credits where he is listed as the second (or lower co-author) in the list. The page below shows one credit to his name.

Instead of gravatar?I use WP User Profile Avatar.
I tried another plugin for Author Box and everything was fine, the photo was displayed.

I have co-authors enabled.
When I go to the author page the name and bio info at the top of the page reflects the 1st co-author listed on the post, not the person I’ve selected
For example our podcast host can be found here https://warroom.armywarcollege.edu/author/ronald-granieri/
His name is never at the top of the page. It’s always the latest guest on the most recent episode. His info, like all of our authors/contributors is completely populated on their user data page.

Hello! When I go to change the “About Author” text to “About The Author” (a little more grammatically on point)…it doesn’t change after I click “save.” Then, when I go to change the photo/icon from a square to round shape, it doesn’t work either.

When we updated the plugin – we’re now showing multiple authors on posts in the backend. We’d like that to go away. We only want one author on the post. Is there a setting in this we can toggle off?
]]>I have used WP Author for years with no issues but this afternoon the plugin required an update and once I did it crashed my site, giving a message saying ‘VB_AREA and THIS_SCRIPT must be defined to continue.’ I had to uninstall the plugin to bring the site back up. How can I create a page with edit fields so the author can edit their own social links? I cannot show the default WP profile page because we don’t want users in that area so I need a custom page with just the social links and biography if possible. I also use “Ultimate Member” plugin which has really nice custom profile forms but those don’t link through to the “WP Post author” social links.
