Have been using this a while along side Advanced Queries and Elementors Loop widget to display a list grid of most popular articles on a website.
Doesnt seem to be working anymore. I think its still keeping count of the post views, but the views template variable isnt pulling in the correct posts. From the posts it is showing it looked like it stopped updating in January of this year.
Will need to find another solution!

Very nice plugin, but I still have an advice that the view counter data should be saved in a new table. Now it was saved in “wp_postmeta”. Maybe it can be improved. Never mind, just my idea.

Now I can independently control the logic of counting! Like this:

i don’t like leaving bad reviews but i have to in hopes of plugins improving
counter is very unreliable. views are not unique with no option to select unique, and for some reason only with this plugin, the views kept counting twice for each page refresh
found another plugin for counting page views that connected to google analytics for counting

You can put them on any text-field which then can be counted.
Therefore it does what it should, but not what it could.
E.g. the settings are better in https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-views-counter/ (which I also just gave 4 stars) and they provide shortcodes, too!
Therefore I’m morelikely to use the other one.
Both plugins should provide daily, weekly data etc. to make them a 5-star plugin.

Resets the counter when the post is updated – this is the biggest drawback of the plugin.
Installation requires editing of the theme – not very comfortable, but bearable.
Poor support. 2 days the author did not answer.

Why my wordpress is saying
“This plugin is not allowed on our system due to performance, security, or compatibility concerns.. Please contact our support with any question”
Is the hosting provider having problem with this.. their server doesn’t have requried specification to run this plugin.. Please explain me why I’m not be able to activate this on my theme. or you can suggest me similar one.

I really thank to Lester ‘GaMerZ’ Chan for this great plugin. the greatness may be seen from its active downloads. on the other hand, the plugin has undesired results when you use cache plugins like W3T Cache and so on.. Sometimes postviews are updated, but most time it is not.
Cache plugins are so imported for Google ranking and better visitor experience. We can not give them up. On the other hand, we do want to use your plugin. Please Chan, solve the problem.

Muito bom o plugin. Tem várias op??es para filtrar e exibir quais posts foram mais acessados apenas de categorias específicas, por exemplo, as mais acessadas do curso 1, curso 2 e curso 3. O demais cursos n?o entrariam na listagem.
