I looked for an simple way to let my visitors search on the website [Unnecessary link moderated] . This plugin works fine together with Taxonomy Manager. It was not hard to install and configure.

It’s working perfectly fine with wordpress version 3.5. This plugin needs more attention, it has a very simple way to add custom meta fields into search so users are able to fine grain their search results.

If you are planning on making an Advanced Search, I would recommend using this plugin. It’s simple and powerful.

I found a lot of people having my same problem, which I solved using this plugin. It’s perfect together with wp e-commerce plugin.

This is the best faceted search plugin available. I wish it would pull the post meta fields automatically, and the comparison stuff made more sense, but that’s a minor thing.

If you want to easily search by category, custom taxonomy, or post meta values, this is the bomb.
