I have installed the plugin and I have updated my Post landing page by adding a new custom field called “random” as required with “1” as the value.
Now, if I load this page or refresh it… nothing happen. It is always the latest Post that is displayed.
]]>Just wondering before I download and try this plugin…
Will the user that will get to the Random page see a new Post every time he will refresh the page or something is cached in the cookies so that the same Post will be displayed at least for 24 hours to force the user to come back every day for a new Post?

]]>It doesn’t work, try it out. At least it doesn’t work for me. I’ve tested it also on my test blog and it doesn’t work on that either.
The post url is displayed at the top header but that is it.
]]>Hey! Thanks for making this plugin. I would love to get it to work, because it seems so simple.
I followed the instructions to the best of my ability:
1. install
2. activate.
3. add page, add custom field with random in the field and whatever number in the Value field.
This is what I get:
https://poemsforall.com/random/
Instead of the post showing up, I get a random post url in the top left and no post. Is my theme interfering or is the plugin not working?
Thanks.
]]>I’ve had a plugin named WP Random post for quite some time.
Today an upgrade message has appeared in my backend for your new plugin, which is obviously another plugin.
Is there any chance that you change the name of your plugin, or do you know how can I permanently remove the upgrade message only for your plugin?
Or what should I do if I wanted to change the name of “my” plugin, is it enough to change all the occurrences in the script?
