I tested this plugin on three domains. Each and every time I ran it, it would make my blog posts go away with an error page that reads ‘Website Loading Terminated. You can add some message here’ — Upon removing the plugin this error goes away.

Edit: For whatever reason, running this plugin in conjunction with ‘Analytics Spam Blocker’ and ‘Bot Block’ seems to cause issues on my end. Not sure which plugin is the actual culprit but running 2 or 3 of these at once definitely causes problems.

This is a great plugin to block referrer spam by yourself. Hope we can import the domain of the spam or at least use 1 line per domain so we don’t have to copy & paste every single domain to add theme. But this is still good.

[Update] This plug-in blocks referral traffic, however it doesn’t block ghost referral traffic, which looks the same in google analytics (100% bounce, 0:00 Session Duration). The only way to truly eliminate this spam is to either set up multiple google analytics filters or add a list of blocked urls in your .htaccess file.

So this will reduce your referral spam, but some will still be there.
