This is a great plugin to display your posts in a carousel or slider anywhere on your site, which can replace much more complex and code-heavy plugins for a very wide range of applications.
The numerous shortcode options make it extremely flexible, and it can be styled any way you want if you have a reasonable knowledge of CSS. If you add to that an extremely reactive and competent support (even for the free version), you have a winner.
I can make just 2 suggestions: Add a shortcode option to show or hide the post’s featured image (it’s always displayed by default, but can be hidden with CSS), and extend the online documentation to give a list (with examples) of the CSS selectors that can be used to style practically every aspect of the plugin’s output.
I recommend this plugin without reservations.

As the use of plugin shortcode is slowly on the way out due to Gutenberg, there are situations shortcode can come handy especially customizing older themes. This is a simple plugin and it relies 100% on short code to display posts with a variety of parameters and filters.
One annoying thing is that the author decides to add a tab name “Recent Post Slider” in the main left sidebar of WP admin. You only add a tab there for important tasks users need frequently – and not to overcrowd the sidebar unnecessarily with tabs to provide some instruction you only read once or up sale commercial products. This section can be tucked under Settings or Tools areas instead.
