is it possible to include a filter?

Is it possible to integrate a filter that does not display certain posts based on keywords?
I currently have the problem that various porn sites are cheating their way into the RSS feeds.
These could be filtered out using keywords such as “sex” “porn” etc.

Your wonderful plugin cannot post more than 10 posts in a RSS.

The shortcode doesn’t help. We tried setting 30, 50, 99, 100 entries, nothing helps.

Could you provide a code snippet filter that prevents your plugin from causing a duplicate image on the podcast feed? I don’t mind it creating the image for the RSS feed, so that I don’t need to add the code myself to the RSS feed, but it’s creating a duplicate image for the podcast feed, which I have created with Castos Seriously Simple Podcasting. I either need to disable your plugin from interfering with the Podcast feed, or disable its interference with both the Podcast and RSS feeds. I’d advise providing a setting in the plugin, or provide the code on your FAQ, to disable its interference with the hosted site’s RSS and podcast feeds. I’ve consulted:

Used the following shortcode to display items from a Woocommerce store (www.hawakal.com):

But only displaying 6 items. Can anything be done about this?

I can’t find any documentation to restrict or allow specific feed items. Is this available in this version or the PRO version?

As you can see timezone of this feed is set on UTC+0.
But plugin ignores this timezone and uses timezone from Settings > General instead. This may result into a wrong “Published” time.

For some reason the feed filters out some events even though they are there in the feed page. I don’t have any cache plugin in the site and not even on server at the moment now that I try to solve this problem.

I suggest an improvement – allow users to add variables to the links that appear.

eg the link from the RSS feed is bbc.co.uk/news/item/pm-resigns

and then the added variables can be added like this

bbc.co.uk/news/item/pm-resigns?ref=mysite&affillink=35346

This code seems to retrieve items from the designated feed in random order, instead of taking the first four items in the feed, which is what I would like it to do (i.e., the four soonest upcoming calendar events in chronological order). Is there a way to make it do that?

This used to work great but now the retriever either just keeps spinning forever, or it says invalid rss. I have run it through a validator – it’s fine – and I have also (1) cleared my cache and (2) installed the transient deleter plugin. Neither one made any difference.

When combining multiple feeds into one list, is it possible to restrict the number of displayed posts from each website?

For example, if I combine 5 website feeds, I want no more than 3 posts to be displayed from the same website.

This is in order to prevent a certain feed from overwhelming other feeds.

After I upgraded RSS Feed Retriever to 1.6.5 and higher, I got RSS ERROR – No RSS items found with URL: https://storyline.easternhealth.ca/feed/
But RSS XML is validated at https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?
Any suggestion?

This was such a great plugin!! It stopped working. Sometimes the demo loads, sometimes it doesn’t. I have PHP version 7.4.29, but it was working after the original update to PHP 8.

Is updating to PHP 8 a requirement to use this plugin now? Are there other new requirements I am not aware of? Any help is much appreciated.

I got error when I tried to set ajax=”false” on shortcode:

It’s working fine with PHP 7.4 but not PHP 8. I tried to remove ajax then I see loading gif and nothing upload feed information there.

Hi, I have set the thumbnail using thumbnail=”550×150″. This gives a great display on a desktop but not on a cell phone.

How can I add a breakpoints to display the thumbnail at a different size on a cell?
