Hi There
I need to work on titles and descriptions of my articles on Seo By Yoast but the functionalities related to the traffic light (first tab) cannot be visible and I know it is a problem linked to qTranslate-X as, if I try and uninstall it, SEO by Yoast works.
Are you planning any update/integration to solve this issue?
In the admin panel, if you enter the title and description, it saves only the first one. The second is not saved. It is necessary to update the page.
]]>Hi,
sitemap is not showing in all languages since last YoastSEO update accurately since YoastSEO version 6.3.
I’m not sure that plugin Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X causes the problem so I contacted YoastSEO and they advised me to change QtranslateX to something else. Can you please check my sites?

Hi there,
How can we translate slugs and snippets? Will the title and meta text be translated in google search results?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys,
I use qTranslate-X and I already installed Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X.
However when I try to install Yoast I get the 500 error all over the site.
However when I try to install and activate Yoast I get the 500 error all over the site.
Any ideas or directions you can give me?
Thanks very much in advance.
]]>Is it possible for qTranslate-X to automatically translate the default strings on the blog posts like “Archive”, “Post navigation”… I got Swedish (default) and English, but when switched only names of the months are changed.
]]>Can someone help me out here? No matter what rewrite rules I’m using – I am unable to load other languages. Error is:
Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed
So only default language will load fine.
Edit: Found out how to do it – you need to redirect the xsl styleshet into every language – so my redirect rules are now like this:
# Rewrites for Yoast SEO XML Sitemap
rewrite ^/sitemap_index.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=1 last;
rewrite ^/([^/]+?)-sitemap([0-9]+)?.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=$1&sitemap_n=$2 last;
rewrite ^/de/([a-z]+)?-?sitemap\.xsl$ /index.php?xsl=$1 last;
Hi I’ve just installed yoast Seo. At my website it doesn’t work with q-translate-x version 3.4.6.8. I can only add SEO for one language …. Any idea what could be the problem ?
]]>Plugin is not working for backend.
Do not change content while switching language tab. I set 2 language in qtranslate English and Japanese. but i can’t change title and description for both languages.
]]>I have installed the qtranslate-x together with the yoast SEO plugin in my theme but it does not work correctly. When entering my SEO purpose in the fields of title and description for a language, the other previously entered languages are changed automatically to the new language which is being entered.
]]>Dear support,
We have installed version 1.1.1 of the plugin with Yoast SEO 4.2.1 and our customer is saying that they cannot place keywords in separate languages.
Could you help assist to find out why, or is there a known fix to this error?
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
I have my website in two languages using qTranslate, I installed Integration: Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X, but my sitemap is not working, what can I do?

]]>Hi dear,
This version dont work with news version of Yoast.
Please update your plugin.
Thanks a lot.
]]>As the topic Language switcher doesn’t change meta-content is closed for further comments, I have opened this new one.
qTranslate-X still not changes MOST meta fields after switching languages (title, description and main keyword): Basically you have to refresh the screen before you can see the real values of those fields. Here comes the test case:
WordPress Version 4.6.1 (es_ES)?– also happened with previous?versions
– Yoast SEO Version 3.5??– also happened with previous versions
– Integration: Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X = Version 1.2? (got it from here) – also happened with?version 1.1.1.
– qTranslate-X version Version 3.4.8? (got it from here) – also happened with?version?3.4.6.8
– qTranslate slug Version 1.1.18
In summary, after switching languages? most field values show still the old values, but only updated fields are saved, although other’s language values are displayed to the user, hence; completely confusing the user. ?All this seems to indicate that the plugin internally switches correctly, but does not update the field values displayed.
Note: I have also tested deactivating the plugin qTtranslate slug, but the same occurs.

Did anyone get it to work with other later versions?
]]>Hi, how do I eliminate the db entries of the plugin?
]]>hello friends, how are you?
I understand the plugin is community driven, and is being developed.
I tried to find the answer for hours, but no success…
Can anyone tell me if is it possible to set 3 different meta descriptions, and 3 different focus keywords, for a single post?
Will google show understand/show the different languages of descriptions/keywords?
Am i failing at finding the documentation about this? If yes, please could someone point me where is it?

]]>Plugin name has been changed from “Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X” to “Integration: Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X” due to WordPress request in the effort of cleaning up and enforcing plugin naming policies, especially with respect to trademark guideline #17 in https://developer.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-org/detailed-plugin-guidelines/, basically, no plugin name should start with other plugin name.
The new release has NO FUNCTIONALITY-WISE IMPROVEMENTS, you do not have to upgrade. Sorry about this.
Please, also read the thread “Help Wanted!” for more information on the development status.
]]>This plugin has Known Issues. Yoast SEO did a lot of improvements in version 3 and after, and now we need to catch up with them. They moved Content Analysis to java script completely, for example.
It should be possible to develop a complementary JS to make it 100% integrated with qTranslate-X, but we lack human resources. We need programmers. Please, find a volunteer for this work, we will help as much as we can. Our code repository is here: https://github.com/qTranslate-Team/wp-seo-qtranslate-x

Is that the correct way to do it?
]]>Hello,
I’m having some issues getting Google to index my meta-description properly. I would love some help trying to solve this issue. In my page I have a YOAST SEO snippet meta description filled out but I also have an Excerpt that is native to WP filled out too.
My first question is: Do these things oppose each other? which one takes precedence when google is indexing? Do they even relate to each other? I have the native WP SEO turned off, because I’m using YOAST, but should I keep it on?
Another issue is that google isn’t showing either my YOAST or “Excerpt” as the description when I google myself. What’s up with that?
Thanks!
]]>Good afternoon,
Please update this wonderful plugin. It is so good for the SEO.
]]>When qtranslate slug plugin is active you cannot translate meta information.
]]>Hey guys!
I love your plugin and use it for quite some time now.
The recent major update of Yoast SEO causes the plugin to not completely work with the In-Page editor. Basically it shows the brackets (the code) in the title and the snippets.
Maybe you can fix that soon ??
Bye and thanks in advance!
]]>We are able to enter the meta information for the English side, but switching to the other language doesn’t change the content. In other words, the content is static regardless of the language we’re selecting.
I see a couple of other similar issues resolved by this process:

But that didn’t work for us. Still the same issue.
]]>Hi,
I’m trying the extension with latest version of qTranslate-X (3.4.6.4) and Yoast (2.3.5) and it’s not working. I also tried it with previous version of Yoast (2.3.4) and it’s not working either.
When I change the language tab main content and title changes, but not the Yoast title and description boxes.
What can I do?
Thanks
]]>Updating to latest qTranslate X-version broke all language-tags (roughly 1300 pages) in Yoast SEO meta-description. The langauge-switcher in backend doesn’t work. I’m having 5 different languages, but language doesn’t change in SEO Yoast, when pressing another language.
The worst thing is really the meta-description as this will take me around a week to fix.
Why is this happening, and how should I fix it?
]]>Hi,
I discovered only today that all my Seo and Meta Desciptions are now mixed between my two languages. Is it ok? Or it is a problem?
They look like that:
[:en]What is Expat Therapy [:it]Che cosa é la Terapia per expats[:]
While before I wrote just the English version without any “[:en]” and the Italian version without any “[:it]”.They are the same when I switch between the two languages.
And for the meta descriptions the two texts are mixed.
I tried to do it like before but as outcome I see just one of the two texts (in English or Italian).
Can you tell me what to do, please?
Regards
