Plugin looks very handy. But when I used it all the non-english symbols on a page turned into “????” after saving the page.
Pity, it is not maintained now.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time, your plugin is really useful and works nicely with standard shortcodes. However, it fails to highlight shortcodes with placeholders, like %(%
for <
and others. Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks for a great and much needed plugin!
