It is saying the following when I use the above in a post:

“Unfortunally the feed you provided is not valid…”

Have I typed something wrong, or is there something wrong with the feed I’m using?

Hi, nice simple plugin.

When the retrieved feed item has a link like https://someurl.com/rss?foo=bar then the displayed url becomes https://someurl.com/rss

The part after the question mark in the url gets erased. Would it be possible to fix it?

The font style coming from the title of the RSS feed does not match the styles used on my other widgets. I was under the impression that the style was coming from my style.css file but it looks like maybe this plugin is overriding it?

I can’t find anywhere in the code which refers to html font tags or a css style. Does anyone know how to configure or remove the font styling from the feed?

Just posting some info.

I needed to remove the description from the feed because the feed was taking up too much space. I probably could’ve just limited the amount of text coming in from the description but I used this method instead. The following is what I commented it out.

Changed

<span>’.(SimplRssfirstWords($item->description,15)).’…</span>

to

<!– <span>’.(SimplRssfirstWords($item->description,15)).’…</span>

How do I remove the homepage URL form the bottom of the Widget? It’s not needed. I can’t figure out what would needed to be commented or removed within the “wp-simple-rss-feed-reader.php” file.

I am trying to put the pugin working but i am getting 2 problems:

– i testing it with a normal google news rss feed, lets say for example: https://news.google.com/news?pz=1&cf=all&ned=pt-PT_pt&hl=pt-PT&output=rss and all get in the page is this:
