After installing this plugin my site is loading very slow. Can you please fix it. Till then will disable the plugin.

Hello, i just want to ask if there is a limit for instances of the plugin used on one page?

I’m building a site using Page builder and when i put 4th wp siren plugin (need to serve 4 different categories on homepage) it doesn’t show anything.

Plugin seems to be loading loading (checked the code and all excepting the list content is there) but the last added instance shows empty list.

Any advice what could be wrong?

I downloaded this widget and it works, but it will only display one category with its recently posted list. If I try and add another category, it just displaces the first. Is there no way to have multiple categories with all their recent posts displayed?

Every time I amend something within your widget, I have to opt out of “Enable Credits”, even though I did it the first time.

This is against WP plugin repository guidelines:
“10. The plugin must not embed external links on the public site (like a “powered by” link) without explicitly asking the user’s permission. Any such options in the plugin must default to NOT show the link.”

I was getting error messages from the html validator about an open <div> and <li> tags, coming from this plugin. So I looked at the code, and saw that the divwith the class rpbc_content was closed inside condition if ( $allwExcerpts == '1' ). I moved it out of the condition, and that solved the problem.
Am I the only one who ran into this problem?

If a category name has a space in it, your plug-in does not return any results. Consider using category-slug instead per the Codex: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/query_posts

if (is_category('category-slug')):
	 query_posts(array('category_name' => 'my-category-slug', 'posts_per_page' => -1 ));
endif;

Tested by just putting the category slug into the wp_options: widget_rpbc – category_name value.

Also, the “Show credits” checkbox doesn’t stick on Save.

Hello, I am enabling the excerpt but it is automatically making a long excerpt no matter how long or short i make it. It is staying at the same length as when I enable it. Just checking how to fix this.
