I’m unable to upload an existing file to import. When I select “SELECT EXISING FILE” . Where should this file be so the plugin can find it?

I noticed that with the latest version of the plugin and with updated WordPress, the images are not loaded by the plugin while importing xml file.

The image is recognised during the import wizard, but after the import, all fields are imported except the image.

I’m using the option “Download images hosted elsewhere”, with {image_urls[1]} value and option “Set the first image to the Featured Image (_thumbnail_id)”

I disabled all the plugin I’m using, tested with two different browsers and no joy.

It is possible to help me investigate this situation?

How to solve a problem where the URL is different, but the filename is the same and the images are different for 2 products?

E.g.

Product one has image:

https://b2b.zizito.com/21331/detska-ranica-s-formata-na-kalinka-14665.jpg

And product 2 has image

https://b2b.zizito.com/21344/detska-ranica-s-formata-na-kalinka-14665.jpg

If you open the URLs you will see the images are different. The only difference in the URL is after first single backslash (21331 and 21344), but after that the filename is the same.

While importing, I can see the log checks (match by URL option) the name (or after last backslash) and reuses the first product image for the second product.

Is there a way to solve that?

I am trying to import some custom fields from an XML. What should I use in the Key field ? I used both the slug and the field name, but nothing is imported. Also, if the field is a checkbox what value should I use ? I use 1 like this: <field>1</field>, is this correct ?

After installing , I can’t edit existing pages or post. When I click on “Edit page”, the link redirect to the edit page of the CPT I’ve tried to import, not to the correct page I want to edit.
Any suggestion?

In my case, the xml file I want to use to update the existing posts, is not containing description part. I want to keep the one published already on the posts and update other fields.

If I uncheck the Update Exiting “Evento” if title are match option and set Unique key to {id[1]}, when I run the importer again the imported events are duplicated.

I can’t activate the Update Exiting “Event” if title are match option because I have events with duplicate titles.

For example: <category name=”House” /> I would like to make a custom field and then extract the “House” value when I import.

To give you a complete picture, I’ve used the “Export media with selected content” plugin to create the XML I’m trying to import using this plugin.

i noticed one situation after updating the posts. The new xml file i’m using contains mosts of the already imported posts and few new ones. For posts already imported in the first xml, the image is added again with the same name or different ones. Each update will add a new image.

For the new xml import i’m using the options “Download images hosted elsewhere” with “{image_urls[1]}” and “Update Exiting “Post” if title are match”.

At first import i used the same option for “Download images hosted elsewhere” with “{image_urls[1]}”.

I recently started to update the posts on my page using xml files. During the first import I used one advance field where I imported specific data field.

At update (checked the option Update Exiting “Post” if title are match) using a new xml, the same advance field name/key is used but with the new value. I noticed that instead of updating the value, is adding new advance field with the same name and the new/updated value from the new xml.

In the end, after the update I have two custom fields with the same name and different values.

Is there anything I can do to replace the advance field value instead of adding new one with new value?

Hi, I cannot seem to get the images to import, I have tried on a different domain and have been through uploads folders etc, still it will not upload. I have even tried with the direct image link instead of the shortocde.

hi there. need some help. im in the middle of trying to import products to my site. the “run import” button is stuck on “please wait” and nothing has progressed for over an hour. ive tried reloading the page and redoing the import but cant get passed the “please wait” . any ideas?

1) when i click run import, it just says please wait, indefinitely.
2) While it says, “please wait” i can check and see that it imports 2 posts out of my 35. why? it never imports more than 2

I see that this question was asked before and there was no resolution. I am trying to import HTML data within my XML file import and all HTML is being stripped out of the imported data. I have the HTML enclosed in CDATA tags and the XML is valid.Is there a way to work around this in the import?

Hi i would like to import xml file with over 4000 items. Each item has 24 params. Data are importing to custom post with acf fields ok, but importing items take too long to import. I only managed to import half of the items.

Is there some server specification that must be configured?

Is it possible to generate unique custom fields. For each update on a feed import I end up with same custom field added to the article. At this point I have a custom field with the same value 4 times.
