I am writing about a “Social Feed Starter” subscription.
I had canceled my subscription 1 year ago, as the plugin on the website was no longer working, and I had uninstalled it.

On 25/05/2020 money for my subscription have been taken from my card, as usual. At that point, after paying, I deactivated the subscription and received a confirmation email.

According to that email, in the day of TODAY, my subscription should have been expired WITHOUT tacit renewal.

Instead today I received the a new payment notification, again, and there is no trace of the cancellation I made a year ago.
I unsubscribed again, and currently I have received another confirmation email, IDENTICAL to last year’s one, indicating that the subscription will end in 2022.

How can I be sure that my subscription has been truely deactivated and that I will NOT have new charges in the future?

Moreover, to be fair, I should be refunded for today fee, as I had already canceled the subscription 1 year ago, and the plugin has not been active on my site since more than 1 year!

I kindly ask for feedback.

Hi i’m actually working on a local website and when I display the feed (Instagram & Facebook) The images doesn’t show up and the feed instagram too, there is just the title and content of the facebook post. Any help ?

Created 3 feeds – Twitter, Facebook & INstagram

When I search site, the 3 feed posts appear in the search results with a link to a 404 page.

These are no posts – the shortcode is being inserted into a separate page

Tried installing plugin.
Go to setup feed for instagram

Click: Click here to get your Access Token and User ID
Then clicked: Generate Access token

All i get is error:
{"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Invalid scope field(s): basic"}

What am I doing wrong?

Hi I set up the plugin and it seems to be working great, but I’m wondering if there is a way to have all the content on the feed display in chronological order, as opposed to grouping all of the Facebook content, then grouping the Twitter content, etc.

Just wondering, before spending more time trying to configure the plugin, are you guys still supporting this plugin w/ the changes to some of the platforms, like Instagram?

I see the process to set up is deprecated, the new Instagram API is to be used instead.

Greatly appreciate your work, and hopefully will be able to still use this plugin.

I had an integration problem between your plugin and the WPML Translation Management plugin, which consists of having both plugins installed and active, when you use the “Quick Edit” option from the WordPress administrator the post is hidden and the Edit panel Rapida is not shown. I found where the problem was and implemented a solution, which you can integrate into your plugin in next versions.

Just add a check to the Register and Add the scripts in the file … / includes / sfbap1-enqueue-scripts.php. Here are the changes:

I set twitter to show 20 posts but I got only the last displayed on my website.

facebook posts are not showing up after adding token and page, please help

We are getting two errors in the console.

First one:

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED in sfbap1-script.js:1

When you try to go to the JS source for this error it’s a 404.

We found this while trying to edit pages in WP Bakery. Disabling WP Social Feeds fixes the error but we would like to keep using this plugin.

I’m trying to add 3 shortcode (facebook, instagram and twitter) to a page but the plugin only shows the first shortcode added. I’ve tried to use the function do_shortcode(); but i have the same problem.

How can i add more than a feed to a page ?

Hi. I try to modify jquery.socialfeed.js and have saved my modifications, but those modifications does not have effect how plugin works. Why?

I’ve enabled facebook, twitter, and instagram on my feed. FB and Twitter show up just fine, but instagram shows nothing. I’ve got my instagram access token (from my account) and the user ID for the user I want to show (another user… not my user account).

Is there any sort of debugging I can do to find out what is going wrong with my instagram feed?

I don’t know what happened. I think that since I updated the plugin, the social feed disappear from About Us page.

Can you take a look in it please?

I installed this plugin and it works great!

However, later I noticed that when I tried to go to Appearance > Editor to edit something in functions.php, I was unable to. I received an error called “Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP”.

I checked every plugin I have and found out that your plugin was at fault. Is there any way I can resolve this?

When in the backend, I am getting the first error in the Console: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Then, when going into WP All Export to create a new export for a custom post type, your plugin seems to be causing another error. Could you look into this? We are on PHP 7.2, and running the latest version of your plugin (2.1.5)

This is causing certain features of WP All Export to now display or work properly

I see the JS code referring to the box in the backend, so I can allways overwrite the value with @ media.

But is there an easier (legit) way to do this?:)

Added the Facebook feed to custom HTML widget. The FB feed is not centered in the widget, only a vertical half of the feed is visible.
Have tried adding <center> </center> and similar script but is ‘not allowed’..?

I am trying to use the feed for my work’s website and hoping to upgrade to the paid-for version once I can get it to work reliably. However, at the moment I can’t.

For a long time, despite following instructions to the letter, nothing appeared for Facebook, only Twitter. Then, for some unknown reason, the Facebook one started to work. After a while, it ceased working again. I spoke to my colleague whose Facebook account we are using (I’m not a Facebook user) and when we looked on the developer page for the app it stated that it had been disabled for security reasons, or that we had logged out.

Then, using the same access code as I have all along……it worked again. And now, it doesn’t. It just seems to turn on and off with no real explanation.

I have created a Facebook account purely for the purpose of this plugin and hopefully it will work. I like the plugin, but so long as it keeps going on and off, I can’t use it.

Any ideas?

After i bought your Pro plugin I’ve tried to catch you out via emails a lot of times for almost 3 weeks with no any comment from your side (via your website).

I’ll try my luck here, maybe wordpress community is much powerful ??

1. The feeds are loading with a lot of duplicates. any way to avoid it?
2. profile pics look cropped with unfitted size in desktop and moblie.
3. Is there any way to filter unwanted feeds (in order to avoid from adults etc…)?

I had to deactivate the plugin because it turns all site extremely slow, even sometimes the homepage freeze completely.

What should I do in order to get the plugin work fine?

Hi, I tried this plugin to one of my websites and it worked perfectly.

I’ve put it on a website I’m developing and for the life of me can’t make out why it only displays one feed. Even if I put 20 in there it will still show one.

If I enable multiple social feeds, it will only show one of each.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you ??
