Hello there
So we have this website where both Social Sharing and WP-footnotes are enabled.
WP-footnotes generates footnotes at the end of an article based on annotations within the text.
I have noticed that when WP Social Sharing’s buttons appear at the end of an article, they will end up between the text and the footnotes. This is not the behavior one would expect in my opinion, because the article essentially gets cut in two.
I’d prefer the share buttons to appear below the footnotes, so they stay together with the article.
I’m not a competent programmer by any means so I hope this special case can be fixed in the future.

When I hover over one of the social media buttons, an ugly dotted border extends all the way to the left of the social media buttons across most of the web page. It looks really tacky.
How can I remove it? Is there a .css file I can edit somewhere?

Problem: Create a Post, add text and/or media to the post, add the shortcode above, publish, then click on preview. Brings up new page, click on Facebook icon/link and login ok, but when viewing it do not see the text or media that are added to the post, only see a background image off the homepage and error msg: page not found nnnnnnnnnn.org. Try to do the post anyway, no further error messages, but nothing posts?

]]>I tried to share my blog to LinkedIn without success. The pop-up window remains open after clicking “share”. Sharing the same article works fine to Google+. This used to work for LinkedIn too but it stopped working after I de-activated and activated all plugins for some troubleshooting.

The reason of that: I put the social share plugin on my Thankyou page, I’d like the visits can share the original post instead the thankyou page.
So included the parameter url on creation of plugin.

]]>I am using bbPress and the wonderful WP Social Sharing plugins. The buttons appear on my posts, however the doe not appear on bbPress topics. I have found the setting to display the buttons on topics and that is selected.

Hey. For some reason the default sharing image is not working. The plugin works great on pages which have some image to share, but if my page doesn’t have an image, it shows my site title image (header logo) which can be changed from the theme settings. This happens at least with Facebook. Could this be some kind of compatibility issue with the theme or could something else cause it? I’m using Quark theme and I have made child theme from it.

]]>Hello. I’m a web admin and have inherited a WordPress site that has your plugin “WP Social Sharing” installed. But I’m not sure if the plugin is actually doing anything on the site. I mean no offense, but if the plugin is not being used, I’d like to deactivate it and remove it. I’m hoping you can confirm that the plugin is not actually in-use on my site.
Here is a screenshot of the plugin settings in my WordPress back-end (https://imgur.com/E0716Y0). As you can see, there are no Social share buttons ticked. Am I correct then that I can deactivate and uninstall the plugin without any affect on my site?
I have a feeling the original developer installed this plugin, then used a different solution for social buttons, and failed to remove the plugin.
