The plugin is a promising plugin with nice features, but works very bad and lacks of some features that for me are important. For example, instead of to allow to use the default service account in the instance, you have to install the service account JSON which is less secure.
Another thing that lacks is the possibility to continue the syncs or even ignore the errors. If the process fails (which happens all the time), you have to restart the process from the begining. The sync is badly done and it stops without reason. Three days I have lost trying to sync a site and all the time the process stops without even saying why, it just says that has synced one image and nothing else. The plugin just stops saying that is syncing images and the progress bar doesn’t continues, but the plugin still thinking that is “in progress”.
If your site is new then will works fine for you, but If your site already have uploads in local, you will loose your mind trying to upload the files using the sync feature.

Great plugin – used for our site to reliably offload our images without issues. Timely help and support from their support team as well. Would recommend!

I know there are many other options and ways to deliver images but I have been using the WP-Stateless for the last couple of years and it has been great, no issues, once you get around how to do the setup you will be fine. Great plugin!
Thank you,
Krasen

Uso este plugin em diversos sites com resultados excelentes. Nunca tive qualquer problema em nenhum momento. Aplico sempre no tema DIVI usando Litespeed Cache e tdo funciona maravilhosamente bem. Agrade?o aos desenvolvedores pelo excelente trabalho.

Plugin broke the permalink structure and set the website in a state of emergency. 404 errors on all pages expect the index. Done the manual integration, although images are serving from the cloud storage as described the layout of the pages broke whenever stateless is activated. Uninstalled and left with a mess that need a fixing. Don’t try on production websites! I was lucky that I have tried it in development environment

Not sure why this plugin is allowed on the official WP Plugin directory. The only thing that its ‘synchronisation’ does is add a whole lot of records to the postmeta table, but not a single object was ever added to the specified bucket. No errors, and no activity whatsoever on the bucket, just an email from the plugin to notify of its completion.
Traffic usage went up significantly in correlation to the synchronisation period, so it also feels dodgy, because where was all that traffic going? Unfortunately, I tried it out on a managed hosting account, which means I’m unable to investigate the nature of that traffic much further. I don’t have time to investigate the plugin code itself either right now, but felt I should at least take a couple minutes to warn others.
I don’t normally complain about free things, but no paid option is available and this is a potentially harmful plugin.

… and nice options. Google Cloud can be a bit of pain to navigate, but the plugin works great!

This plugin used to be great. Not sure what happened with the developer. but they no longer update the plugin. The plugin has a lot of issues and they do not maintain it. This is a dead plugin and a dead project. I contacted UDX to see if I could PAY them to fix the issues I has having on our site. They told me, NOPE… They DO NOT OFFER SUPPORT ON THIS PLUGIN… EVEN PREMIUM SUPPORT…
I was like… WOW….
So… Do yourself a favor. Do not install this plugin. It’s a piece of trash. It’s a dead project by UDX. And it will cause you more trouble than it’s worth.

Followed instructions 1-1 still nothing happens. No error message. I keep getting success messages and everything seems to run smoothly, even the sync process, however, no files appear in bucket.

Every time I do saves anywhere on my site I get the error message “There has been a critical error on this website.” and it only goes away when I deactivate the plugin. I’ve tried the plugin against all my other plugins and even when that’s the only one active, it does the same thing.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
On some upload links it uploads the content to Google cloud…
On others upload links it loads it up to the local wp-content/uploads folder.
The idea is great, but this plugin has too many bugs to be functional. I tried 3 different versions of WP but none worked.
A true disappointment !

The plugin is great. We all need a plugin like this.
BUT, to get a paid support, they just neglect the free forum support on www.ads-software.com.

The set up of the plugin is intuitive, however, when it comes to synchronize a large media library (mine has approx 60k files), the plugin is also showing 502, 503 and 504 errors.
I tried to enter in contact with the support team twice by opening tickets, but I haven’t still received any answer.

Hello Folks,
Is there any way to serve CSS,JS files from GCS bucket?
]]>Rating: 5 stars
Awesome plugin for Google Cloud Storage bucket, to have a copy/backup locally and in the bucket, morover to serve images directly from the bucket.
Working perfectly with CloudFlare custom sub-domain.

Hi All,
I would like to say this plugin really helps news portal that have a lot of images, may be hundreds GB or more than a Terabyte. I managed a news portal with currently 12GB images, all the images I have moved to Google Cloud Storage (GCS) with the help of this plugin.
This plugin is powerful.
One quick note: I hope there would be an alternative way to move the stateless images to GCS through SSH command, especially if we have hundreds GB of images in WP Media Library.
Thank you.

Performance has slowed greatly. Needs more work if they want people to pay for this.

After uninstalling, the module left behind hard-coded urls of images in post body pointing to Google Cloud Storage buckets.
The last update was filled with bugs (see review before mine for a detailed explanation). I was forced to uninstall but now have to deal with the hard-coded urls left behind by this module.

A critical bug in version 2.1.8 of WP-Stateless marks the very last straw for our team and our clients. We can no longer afford to drop everything we’re doing to troubleshoot why something that previously worked fine for many releases suddenly breaks without warning.
From defined constants going unrecognized to site-wide banners displaying for absolutely no reason to the CDN bucket name becoming unset, breaking media uploads and front-end references, we’re truly disappointed with what appears to be a refined, well-polished media management solution introducing unexpected bugs with every patch release.
Question: Since when does a patch release introduce new bugs and break existing functionality?
Answer: When semantic versioning practices aren’t adhered to.
Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, increment the:
Version 2.1.6 introduced new constants, or, more precisely, replaced constants. This should have been reserved for a MAJOR version release, something considered as “incompatible API changes.”
Version 2.1.4 introduced an updated version of Google OAuth, a change which broke new setups for our entire team. This should have been reserved for a MINOR version release, something considered “a backwards-compatible change”.
Version 2.1.7 introduced a dashboard-wide notice for sites set to use Stateless mode, forcing file name rewriting even for users of the CDN mode. The banner meant for Stateless settings persisted even when unnecessary, causing confusion for all. This should have been reserved for a MAJOR version release, something considered as “incompatible API changes.”
The list goes on. Fortunately for us, the list will no longer be something that causes our team to scramble or our account managers and directors to have uncomfortable discussions with multi-million-dollar clients and projects.
