I really have huge problems regarding Duplicate meta descriptions with this plugin. This plugin will create number in the end of permalink post like domain.com/post/2.

I’ve been using this plugin for several years on a very popular website, to great effect, however after updating WordPress to 4.4 I am now getting issues using the dropdown menu to select the next section. It detects the first section title, however it seems to mess up the second or third, creating an incredibly long section title. It’s as if one of the ] is missing or is later in the text.

]]>When I use preview in the editor, the page navigation does not work. It just goes back to the first page. But a published page works fine.
Also what was the “quick fix” code that you said to install when 4.4 broke it? I wanted to remove that code since you updated the plug-in.

First note that I try to make understand to many that the “paginated” with post into “pages” is confusing (with “pages” opposited to “post” which are both “posts”…).
As the concept of “section” is not used in WP I have migrated for my own docs and applications to “Section” when a ( -nextpage- is used)
To coordinate the use of a Table of Content for a whole POST and be able to produce it in a best way I have enhanced my version to integrate new parameters to manage “sections”.
This is an enhanced version of your plugin which I have upgraded with your last changes.

I think that your plugin can be easily the box for the solution without developing a new plugin.
The new options should be :
– add an item : “slug” of page when getting title.
– use of the slug into a shortcode for links syntax
<a href="[TOPC_permalink page_slug]#<anchor id>" />
which will be replaced at execution by
<permalink postid>/<n° page>/#<anchor id>Example into link tinymce function write :
“[TOPC_permalink bibliography]#descartes”
with into the page slug “bibliography” <tag id=”descartes”….
– new option “hide” treats the links problem but without display.
Are you interested into this little development which will enhance.
If you have no time, I could propose the code, but what’s about the maintenance. I write good code but I have currently too much things todo than write plugins, but I made for myself several enhancements of several plugins.

Nothing not normal seems to append and the installation have been successful then activated,
Followed exactly the instructions :
– download –
– install (upload to server)
– activate it
but :
– no icon
– no js included
– no php executed
no link from keywords search “WP table”, “WPTopc” found into sources of WP (all installed) except into the subdir :
wp-content\plugins\wp-table-of-paginated-contents
I don’t go farther for now.

wp-table-of-paginated-contents.php on line 106 triggers an error “Undefined variable: class”.
I replaced unset($class) with $class = '' and since everything seems to be ok.

– no <!–nextpage–> code was added to post
– strange “wp-table-of-paginated-contents//images/trans.gif” image was added before the proper [shortcode]
it sort of worked by adding a proper page break right before the [shortcode], but then wptopc and wptopc_pagination_links started using “Page X” rather than the title in shortcodes.
after looking for the file that output the gif, i modified wp-table-of-paginated-contents-tinyMCE-plugin.js at line 14:
