Spambots abuse this plugin even after you remove it.
‘How is this possible?’ You ask. Trust me, ‘vampire bandwith’ is a b!tch.
Be warned. Dont use.

We were forced to shut down a site because of this plugin. Plugin was deployed to send spam by 3rd party. Be careful using this plugin.

I would strongly advise against using this plugin at all. I noticed thousands of spam messages being sent from POST requests directly calling the ‘send-mail’ function. Looking at the code for version 5.9, the only validation it does is a check for a valid recipient address, and there are no anti-spam features. According to the changelog, from version 5.3 a CAPTCHA was removed and “form accept submission only from your website domain” – referrers are forged by bots, and this is no protection at all!
I don’t think this is ever likely to be a workable approach to sending mail to an arbitrary address, even with a CAPTCHA. Better solutions for this are: (a) don’t allow the visitor to modify the subject line or content at all; or (b) create a mailto: link so the visitor can edit related text but send through their normal email system.

Hi,
I want to understand if I could add social sharing enabled on this pop up where a customer can share a unique link with his/her friends to drive more conversions.
Hope to hear from you soon.
TIA

I appreciate your effort to provide a plugin for free.
But please, make it open source or learn a little about HTML, PHP and CSS.
DRY technique doesn’t applies in your plugin.
A lot of crap in HTML like reusing the same ID in tags. IDs are unique!!
Sorry for being honest, but I need to warn others.

Clicking the button does nothing – the popup wouldn’t pop up.
Went to the support page and there were others who had the same issue that remained unanswered so I guess, it doesn’t work and is unsupported.
I ended up finding and using an alternative called smart addon which works better.

I added him some options:
– The use of a CSS or not to display a button instead of plain text (an image button is default)
– The choice of two colors to customize the CSS button
– Whether or not to display this button directly to the end of articles and pages with add_filter (‘the_content’)
– Use EasyFancy plugin for responsive popup
A good idea?

I did get this plugin to work, but only in limited situations.
Right out of the box there is one limitation that I did not like. There is no option for sender email address. Recipients receive emails from a static email address that you get to choose, but without the recipient knowing the sender, many will go unopened.
I am using the Customizr theme with IDX Broker and I found that the sidebar widget did not work on most pages, even when I used the short code in a text widget.
The short code did work well when used in the page itself. If you do not mind the limitation I mentioned above, you may want to try this. It is simple to setup and use – when it works.

1. Add translation files
2. Write js files on jQuery
3. Avoid of using ID attribute in form (You can not use the code multiple times on a page). The code must be more generic.
4. Add to shortcode option to add URL (other than current page)
Thank you
