How do make the font size of the Client name and Job Title larger with a shortcode? It is too small.

Is there a way to change the colour of the left/right slider arrows?

I have a multilingual avada theme and the testimonials widget does not display the title translation. The testimonies do display translated accordingly, but not the title.
I do translate the title in the category section, but apparently the title “Testimonials” is not a variable string but a plain text entered in within the slider widget, which Avada does not seem to enable the translation.

When all the testimonials are listed in the admin dashboard, I’d like to have a column listing the client name, as this is the main identifier for the testimonials.
I tried using the client name as the title of the testimonial but then couldn’t find a way to avoid displaying this along with the testimonial.

So, I’d like one of the following:
a) A column in the dashboard listing the client name
or
b) The ability to avoid displaying the title of a testimonial

Can anyone help with this?

Hi, I was wondering, would there be any way to add custom class to centered slide? Somehow slick-current appears on the left slide. I just want to change border color on the centered slide. Thank you in advance.

I’ve got a page set up with testimonials to order by title, but it’s not working as expected. I suspect it is because I am trying to use numbers to achieve this.

These are my titles and the order that they are appearing. I would have expected the last one to instead be between 20 and 30 instead of at the end. Any advice? I wanted to give my client the ability to control the order by title, and I went by 10s to allow some wiggle room for inserting in-between existing ones.

I have installed this plugin however when I look at the mobile view no testimonials are showing it’s just a blank white space that shows. I can only view testimonials on the desktop view. Im not sure if it’s something I’m doing wrong or need to do?

When testimonial is translated its not displaying. check the website testimonial section.

I inserted the shortcode to display testimonial slider in the website. The slider is working fine in Windows PC,Android Phone and Iphone but the slider is not sliding in Macbook pro (Chrome,Firefox).

I am trying out this plugin to replace old plugin Testimonial Rotator which has been withdrawn.
I’m using design-1 as I want the name of the person who gave the testimonial to appear below the quote but I can’t find a way to decrease the amount of blank space that gets inserted below the name.

Here is the shortcode text I am using:
[sp_testimonials_slider autoplay="true" design="design-1" dots="false" arrows="false" display_quotes="true" orderby="rand" slider_speed="6000" autoplay_interval="9000" adaptive_height="true" category="172"]

And I have added a couple bits of additional css:

.wptww-quote .fa.fa-quote-left { display: none; }
.wtwp-testimonials-slider-wrp{background-color:antiquewhite; }

I have also tried it with adaptive_height=”false” but the blank space persists.

Can someone suggest what I can do to get rid of it?

I run the plugin jQuery Migrate to flag up any deprecations. Got the following notice from this plugin:

The description here and the documentation on your website do not show an example of the shortcode parameter passed to initialize the Website URL although I know that is an available field…

I tried all three of the following to no avail:

display_website_url="true"

display_website="true"

Is there a way to vertical center all the testimonials within a slider? When we have longer testimonials the smaller ones look a bit strange sitting near the top.

We are on the free version so if this option is available in your pro version please let me know

I’m really new to website editing! Recently, our business’ testimonials page stopped working and I’m not sure how to bring it back. When I go in editing mode, I can see the reviews (albeit not as they were originally formatted) but when I am logged out and view it regularly, it just says [testimonial_rotator id=998 format=list]. This is probably a really simple fix and I’m just very new to this! But if anyone has any suggestions for how to get our page back, it would be much appreciated.

On this page, if you open the last item “Peer Supporter Training” you will see our testimonial slider. We are testing out the free plugin and are seeing a delay in the css being loaded to the testimonial slider upon page load. It sometimes takes 5-6 seconds for the slider CSS to load and it to display properly. Is this something you have seen before? Any thought on why it takes so long to eventually display the layout/css correctly?

Great plugin, but the orderby parameter in shortcodes doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried every option, but it doesn’t change the order. “rand” doesn’t randomize either.

I have over 100 testimonials. I don’t really want to create them individually in the WP admin.

Is there a way to import them from a CSV file?

If not, could I create them directly in the database? What table is used and what fields would be needed?

I found another forum that said to paste this CSS to change the quotation color but when i did nothing changed.

Hello,

If I write a testimonial in italic, the plugin automatically displays the testimonial between quotes although I unchecked “Display quotes” in the testimonial slider widget.

I would be OK with that if it were possible to remove the big quote that is displayed on top of the testimonial. But as it is, it looks redundant.

Is it possible to remove the big quote on top of testimonial ?
Else, how not to have the quotes in the testimonial ?
