Hi, I just configured a new WP instance and installed WP Time Machine. Entered my S3 key and secret, backed up, got the success message, clicked to clear, and have this on the page:
Your archives are ready, they took about 6 seconds to create; and are in your Amazon S3 account (in this bucket: hi-project-5409eda8xxxxx).
Except there’s no sign of it at Amazon. All my other buckets are there where WP Time Machine has dutifully backed up other WP instances, but not this latest. I’ve waited two hours, refreshed, and it’s still not there.
Any ideas?
]]>Hi, I have “Post Publish Event” enabled, but wp-time-machine doesn’t automatically initiate a backup after I’ve published a new post. At least I can’t see any such backup on AWS.
Any and all ideas welcome ??
]]>Please excuse my English.
I install the plugin wp Time Machine version 3.4.0.
I followed the instructions here:
https://etuts.org/backup-wordpress-files-database-to-drop-box-with-wptimemachine-plugin/
Unfortunately, the data is backed up. I got this message:
Your archives have NOT been completed
Unfortunately more information is not available (yet). Note that wp Time Machine does not support Dropbox two step verification. ? ? Remove this message
You me, please help?
Thanks a lot!

There have been no replies from the plug author here in longer than that and no posts on the plugin webpage in more than six months. So I’m moving on to something else. I hope the issues do get fixed and that others are able to use the plugin well. Thanks to Paul Getty for a plugin that was great while it lasted.

]]>WP Time Machine v1.9.21 stopped transferring backups on my three weblogs to Dropbox about three weeks ago. Everything appears fine from the logs (see below), but when I click the Generate button from any of them, it runs for just a couple of seconds then claims it has been finished, but nothing gets uploaded. I have confirmed the password and user name are correct.
I do have a beta version of Dropbox running on one of my computers, but this issue happens on others that aren’t running that beta. That should be irrelevant, any way, as WP Time Machine isn’t running on my local computer.
I see on my website most of the files the log says it will transfer, though I haven’t found the wpTimeMachine-data-files.sql data file yet, as I don’t know where to look for it.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Gary
