I have one admin and rest other users are on “Contributor” role. In the WP-timesheet panel I have unchecked the option where users can edit their data. However when I login from a user and go to view data I can see that I can still have the option of editing my post. How is that possible?

I had an idea that make this plug-in a bit easier to use. Right now, when i check out time sheets, I see a list of a ton of users. This is because my list includes my website subscribers.
Could there be a user role role that is call ’employee’ and the list of time sheets is restricted to that use role?
Alternatively, perhaps working with the default user roles, the Admin can opt into user roles that they want included in the filtered employee list (like i include editors and contributors in my list, but do not opt in to subscribers).
Another idea is maybe there is a way to manually check or opt in only specific users into the employee list. This probably would be best for extremely small businesses, which are the most likely to use this plug-in. I’d imagine if a company had 40+ employees they may have a premium hour recording service/system.
Also, is there a non-techy way to download the data? I’d imagine if HR needed to download a timesheet, they would not know what PHPmyAdmin is.
Well these are some ideas. Hopefully they can help in making the plug-in better for it’s target audience. At the moment I don’t have any employees but I want to be prepared for the time when I can hire.

]]>This plugin is a good idea but, aside from some of the other basic features mentioned, it needs to allow for the recording of sick/vacation/holiday time, not only project time.

I have 2 admin accounts but in none of them I can view all my users’ timesheets. (The drop-down with all users i can sort)

]]>Is there any way to have a shift end at midnight? My client has people that work until midnight or past midnight very often. It’s no problem for them to fill out two separate entries (one for the time before midnight and one for the time after midnight) since it spans two calendar days, but the latest the plugin will allow a shift to end is 11:45pm.
Is this an easy fix? Thanks!

]]>Hi, is there a way for me to edit the code or for you to add an option for when an employee/user submits their job/time info, it will email the admin or a custom specified email?
I understand the admin can login and check this info, but it would be nice to get an email/alert of some sort when the employee submits their info.

Hey – I am stumped at how to actually use this plugin. I was under the impression that I can create a timesheet for each user. I was hoping for a shortcode to put on each user’s individual page. I have not seen any instructions on how to actually use this plugin anywhere, so I’m hoping someone can help me out with this?

]]>All works fine except the ‘reports’ folder was not created by the plugin – I uploaded the plugin in FTP mode which might have something to do with it.
Also the formatting has got a bit messed up in WP 3.2.1 but it’s nothing that stops you using it.
Look forward to an update at some point.
Ideally I’d like the time selection to be different – perhaps the default end time should be the users current time?
Or maybe have this as an option.
