We’re having an issue with all of our posts erroring out. I reauthorized the plugin back to Hootsuite and cleared the site cache, but I’m still having the issue. Can you provide any guidance on how to resolve this?

in the last few days hootsuite stopped functioning with webp images (using performance webp plugin from wp). the files in the medialibrary are tripling with names like wp-to-social-pro-270470-converted-5f1aa253dd.jpg-jpeg.webp and the log shows error:
Hootsuite API Error: #200: Picture upload failed: invalid PhotoExtension for filename: 'wp-to-social-pro-270470-converted-5f1aa253dd.jpg-jpeg.webp'. Ensure your web host, firewall and any WAF Plugins are not preventing Hootsuite from accessing this image.
but nothing changed there; is there something going on?

Okay so how exactly does your plugin post to instagram because it feels like a bit of a lie. (I’ve paid for pro).
Your marketing says post directly to instagram. But your documentation says:
*Instagram Business Profiles are not supported by Hootsuite’s API, and therefore are not supported by this Plugin.
*Instagram Personal Profiles only support Reminders / Notifications to your mobile device – not Direct Posting. This is per Hootsuite’s Documentation.
So if business profiles are not supported, and personal profiles dont support direct posting… How exactly does your plugin post directly to instagram? Or does it not and your marketing/website is a lie?

Because Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter don’t allow linked text, we have to put any URLs in the text — maybe in parens.
I would love an option that would automatically remove the links from the post and put them in parens after the text. So it would turn this:
<a href="https://example.com">Visit my site</a>.
Into this:
Visit my site (https://example.com).
That would allow me to send the content of a post directly to social media and still keep the inline links. Great idea, right? ??

When using the events tags {em_event_start_time} {em_event_start_date} they both return time/date in UTC. I would like it to show local time, or just be able to set what timezone it shows up in.

Hello, I was actually trying to log in to my account to once again go through the documentation and try to get this plugin to work for me.
Inside my WP dashboard, the plugin shows “Error refreshing access token. Hootsuite said:”.
Could be that I’ve done everything wrong with trying to set this up, but I’ve had no luck following the guides and what little results I previously had with the plugin have been extremely inconsistent.
Edit:
I deauthorized and reauthorized to Hootsuite and it got rid of the error. Now back to making the thing post. ??

Image appears when I manually add a link. But image doesn’t appear when I send a link with a plugin.
Yoast SEO / opengraph (on) and when I send with other programs (SNAP) a link image appears and no problem.
I’ve also tried:
I tried on my other sites: its not working
I turned off all plugins (all sites and tried)not working image not shown on facebook…
It is possible when making the post on Hootsuite to check the iamge as featured image?

I have enabled the logging option as per its documentation.
When I create a new Article (Post) I get the following error message from your plugin:
No settings are defined in the Plugin Settings for sending this Post Type to Hootsuite on publish. If you are expecting this Post Type to be sent to Hootsuite on publish, please check the Plugin Settings.
The Post is set as the default.
The Post option in your pluguin is enabled.
What can it be?
