I set up the 3 Step Process and it works perfectly on a desktop, but not on a phone. I get to Step 2 but when I submit, instead of getting to the last step to check out, it shows that the cart is empty. Help is appreciated!

My question is. Is there a way to make a var conditonal?

For example. I would like a cutomer to be able to do the following.

Pick the Style of the product:
var1[Pen Style|Style 1|Style 2|Style 3]
If Style 1 or 2 is picked then:
var2[Nib Size|Fine|Extra Fine]:var3[Color|Pink|Beige|Green|Blue]

If Style 3 is picked then: var2 and var 3 is not shown, only var4 is shown
var4[Color|Silver-white|Yellow-gold|Pink|Purple|Blue|Brown|Black]

Any ideas how to do this?

Also, any way to allow a cutomer to choose a QTY at the Product Page level before adding to the cart?

This plugin looks great but can it handle stock levels too?

eg. if I set a product to “5 in stock” will the plugin mark the product as sold out once 5 have been sold?

The host recently updated php to 7.2 so I was wondering if it has anything to do wiht it. I’m also getting errors with other plugin that also uses paypal. Both plugins are used on another site I have with different host and they both work fine on php.5.6.38

Another strange thing is that I deleted the plugin folder using ftp (I was hoping to reinstall it and keep the settings), but the error messages still come up, and plugin still appears sometimes in Admin, even though it’s not there.

I’m not a developer, so I’m just trying to guess any correlation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it already possible to have additional shipping costs for more than one item?

If not I suggest two more options:

One is fixed addition for more products in the settings.

One is Shortcode example for veriable ones (bold):

I’m having some trouble with text displaying on my checkout button. I have the custom buttons field checked in the settings so that i could configure the add to cart button, but this inturn has removed the text from the checkout page button.

this is the css of the checkout button and the problem is the value tag, it has no value. If i changed this too value=”checkout” it works when i inspect the page, but I’m not sure how to make that a permanent Change.

Is there a page that gathers orders or is customer information gathered on a Contact Form? For example, in the PayPal Simple Shopping Cart there is a link in the dashboard which lists all of the purchases made by customers.

I have received notification from paypal that I neeed to make security changes, there is an issue with – IPN Verification Postback to HTTPS, more info can be found here https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/ipn-verification-https

I have contacted my hosting company, and they say it is something that needs to be changed within the plug in. But I can’t see where anything needs to be changed, or how to change it.

Basically they are saying that it is in the post back to paypal, that the connection used isn’t secure or something like that.

Hoping someone can help before these changes are required.

Ive not had this problem before now but the cart is not adding purchases separately or properly. Once you have added the first two options to the cart and you wish to add one or both of the following purchase options it just repeats the price of one of the first two and not as a separate purchase. It only says 2 items in the basket even though you have purchased more?

I’ve been trying various combinations of the examples and can’t seem to come up with one that will give what I want. I want two dropdowns. One with “Member” and “Non-member” plus a price for each. The second with no pricing, just two options, in this case, days for the class. Something like “Thursdays” and “Saturdays”. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mike, seven months ago I “wished” for some kind of feedback to the customer that an item had been added to the cart. We exchanged a few posts about this, but you said that you did not have time then to address the issue. I’m hoping that you might have time now to revisit this wish.

I received an email notification from PayPal that my website needs a security upgrade:

“Our records indicate that you still need to make some critical security upgrades to your systems as well. If you see a “YES” next to a security change, your integration must be updated to accept these new security measures by the date specified:

? TLS 1.2 and HTTP/1.1 Upgrade – Complete by June 2018
– Update Needed: Yes”

I’ve contact my hosting company (HostGator) and they said they’ve already made the security upgrades, and yet I still received this notification. Just wondering if it’s the plugin that needs to be updated. Currently, there are no updates being offered for the plugin.

I have been using this plugins many years. I want to know When I checkout from the website it is asking me for compulsory login in the paypal account in order to purchase the product which is not good.

I tried wiht the paypal settings make the account optional ON and still it is asking the same thing here do you have any solution ?

When Client trying from Europe it is showing the compulsory login where here in india it is not showing the compulsory login option.

The website is 5 years old, but we updated all needed plugin, we installed the last version of wordpress and the server is running php 7.

so the user automatically sees the title of the product

We ran into an issue with PayPal where setting the Language Encoding to UTF-8 was not enough to handle french accent characters and had to add code in wp_ultra_shopping_cart.php on line 616 for the following:

<input type="hidden" name="charset" value="utf-8">

It would be great to add either a filter to the paypal form code for us to hook into it and add our own options or have the charset as an option in Configuration for the plugin.

When I add items to cart they don’t always appear in the cart. Its worst when adding an item to cart, going back to the shop and adding another item, it doesn’t appear in the cart. I’ve tried different browsers and refreshing the page doesn’t work. It does work if I click on the x to remove an item, it then refreshes the cart.

When the option is unchecked the default text is showing fine

It may be a theme thing, but I can’t get the button centered on the page.

I found that, for a button with no choices, I can center the button by including the shortcode inside the image caption. However, if the button has choices and I put the shortcode in the caption, the heading and button are centered, but the list of choices is all the way to the left.
