When the plugin is activated, it changes the background of my site, and gives the following error:

bux.li
eeb.me
All your ref.li short urls can also be accessed using bux.li and eeb.me.
Next Version i will add option to choose a domain to use in your WordPress Installation. If you have anything to ask you can contact us.

If I have a small domain name like X.IO, how difficult is it to adapt this plugin to use my own domain shortener instead of Ref.li links?
*since my short domain makes reference to the main website, I think will be a better user experience to use it ??

I got this message just after entering the API key:
