This profile makes it extremely easy to set up paid membership plans. The documentation is excellent and guides users in detail through each required step for everything to work properly.
Almost everything can be customized, ranging from forms to user profiles, allowing profilepress to blend in with the rest of the webpage’s design. The flexibility is astounding.
Further, customer support is absolutely amazing. My issue was handled extremely quickly, and even resulted in custom code being implemented to my site.

Since version 4.15.12 of the plugin, I have been receiving the following error:
“Warning: Cannot declare class PAnD, because the name is already in use in ../wp-content/plugins/wp-user-avatar/third-party/vendor/collizo4sky/persist-admin-notices-dismissal/persist-admin-notices-dismissal.php on line 161”
When we look at line 161, the code \class_alias('ProfilePressVendor\PAnD', 'PAnD', \false); is present. I disabled this code or added the line @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 ); to wp-config.php to hide this warning, but wouldn’t it be better if the plugin developer found a solution so that this isn’t necessary?

As a new user of Profilepress, I have found the support team very quick to respond to a myriad of questions that I recently submitted. From an issue that needed developers to create a fix (to make Profilepress more compatible with Uncode) to questions that were actually already answered in their documentation, each issue was responded to, in minutes to a few hours, and all satisfactorily.

My experience with ProfilePress was an absolute nightmare. I had set up different subscription levels with free trial periods, and due to a flaw in the plugin, subscriptions were created for our users without their payment methods making it to our payment processor Stripe. Subscribers thought they had active subscriptions until Stripe cancelled their subscriptions due to non-payment. I brought this issue to the attention of the plugin developers, who immediately blamed the users and claimed that the users must have deleted their payment methods themselves. I had to fight with the developers to look into the issue, and eventually they did and admitted to the issue and created a patch for it. I tested the subscriptions again, and everything was working correctly. Then, when the developers rolled out the next update for the plugin, the patch for our issue had been removed, and once again we had subscriptions being created with no way to charge users for them. Once again I brought this to the attention of the developers, and once again they blamed the users for the exact same thing they had fixed not that long ago. After proving that this issue was happening again when I created a test subscription, they admitted that the inadvertently removed the patch during the last update. The developers asked for access to my website to inspect the plugin code, and ended up breaking the website – I had to restore the site from a backup. This series of issues played out over the course of a couple of months, and damaged the reputation of my website and brand.
I’ve opted to not use ProfilePress anymore due to the extreme negligence of its developers, who are also refusing to provide a refund. 0 starts if I could.

WordPress is a very good CMS with a lot of themes, features and tools. It supportes you, wheter you’re a hobby blogger or a business.
But limit the number of your features and plugins, as WordPress may otherwise become (too) slow.

I wanted to share my recent positive experience while customizing the ‘groups’ section in the ‘membership plan’ plugin.
I had a quick question, and the support team, particularly Collins, was incredibly helpful. We needed to customize the dropdown order, and not only did they respond promptly, but they also created two custom snippets to address our needs.

First I was skeptical because of the (old) bad reviews, but I saw it is because the plugin name changed a while ago. Okay, I tried it and must say, it works well and offers almost every Membership feature I need in the free version of this plugin. It is easier to use, than other membership plugins I used in the past. The honestly only Thing I miss, is that I can offer all Stripe payments like SEPA and PayPal and not only credit card. Therefore ProfilePress offers Mollie Pay, which seems to be cool, but I have all my clients and billing-process set up in stripe, so I won′t switch over to mollie now. However the plugin is great.
