When the option “saving as draft” is enabled users are able to submit and publish their posts without being reviewed by saving them as draft first and then submitting them (the submit button is replaced by the update button).

In my opinion, this should obviously be considered a bug since if the ��Post Status�� setting set to ��Pending Review�� (as we do cause we need to verify each post before publishing it) it makes no sense that users can go ��live�� by skipping this important step simply saving the form as a draft (which is also necessary so they don’t lose their progress and continue at another time without being ready to submit).

If I may, the save as draft option should respect this setting during the creation of a new post and keep the post as pending review if it is submitted after saving as draft (likewise, the save as draft option could be changed to ��Delist�� or ��Make post offline�� when it is not a new post but the editing of an already approved/published post).

The plugin is working fine, but one user said, “I want to see how the article will look when I publish it while I’m drafting it.”
Is there a way for users to preview private articles?

Hello, I need urgent advice. I have page where only members will have access. Photos from the trips will be posted here. I have created trips as posts. The trip post should only have the name of the trip and a photo gallery. With the plugin I upload photos via the frontend form, but they don’t appear in the post as a nice gallery of photos that you could scroll through, but only photos are uploaded there, with the name of the photo, which doesn’t look very good. How to edit the resulting output so that there is a nice gallery in the post?

When I publish a product, then try to edit it later, the edit form loads with all fields empty instead of showing the existing product details.

For example, if I publish a product titled “Awesome T-Shirt” and then go to Account > Products to edit it, the form comes up blank as if I��m adding a new product.

How can I fix this? Kindly assist.

I don’t know from which version exactly the issue derives, but at least the latest version breaks my site even when only this plugin is activated. Has happened before. Very unreliable plugin. WordPress up to date, PHP 8.2, Kadence team.

This seems to be common across any WordPress system using the rich text editor. I’ve found some supposed fixes but they don’t work.

Simple problem. I have a front end post form to create a vanilla WordPress post. I insert a picture. I save, it shows correctly. I edit the post using the front end, the pictures are not there. Checking the picture, the link has been quoted.

So this is my correctly formatted post created using the form first time through – all good:

This is what I see if I then select the post through the WP User Front end and edit it:

And clicking on the broken photo placeholders:

So simply reopening the post breaks the formatting.

If I go into the backend editor I see this:

So it seems that the Rich Text Editor is incompatible with WordPress 6.6.1

Having Googled I’ve tried blocking the editor processing with:

using WPCode to insert but that does not seem to help.

What to do?

On one of my sites, I want to add a member access with WooCommerce and add several forms in this member area. Each person who logs into their account will have access to the different forms.

I’d like the person who fills in and sends the form to be able to retrieve it with the completed fields for any subsequent modifications. I’d like each modification to be saved in the form so that I can come back to it. It should be saved in each member’s account.

Can this plugin do that?

This is a follow-on from Version 4.0.2 displaying simple form incorrectly which was somehow closed as resolved.

After 8 months of wordpress nagging me to update I thought I’d try upgrading to version 4.0.11

Something broke after version 3.6.9

Hello, I have an issue allowing payments on my form, and not sure what I’m missing here.

I want to enable only bank payment on forms for adding CPT. I have enabled it in the:

1. Plugin settings->payment, and
2. Post form settings -> payment settings -> checked “Enable payments”

However, when I go to /account/ page and select Publish product (post form) I receive message “Payment type not selected for this form. Please contact admin.”

No Fields are visible in the Add Fields sidebar. Even in troubleshooting mode with only the free and pro plugin activated, no fields are displayed so I cannot build a form.

I appreciate that the new WPUF 4.09 (free version) gets rid of that flurry of those ‘allowdynamicproperties’ notices in my error log, but the newest version has much bigger problems: it won’t let me log in to the /wp-admin/ dashboard:

Hey I’m trying to implement a character count using jQuery to display the user how many characters are left to reach the minimum required for a textarea (that is using tinymce). How can I accomplish this?

I managed to count it using the code ”?tinymce.activeEditor.getContent({format: ‘text’}).length;” but can’t seem to find a way of triggering this using tinymce’s keyup function. Can you help?

I’ve set up a frontend image upload section for my site, but I’m having trouble with duplicate file names. If someone tries to upload two images with the same name, only one gets saved. Also, if an image already exists with that name, the upload fails.

Is there a way to fix this? I’d love for users to be able to upload images even if they have the same name. Maybe the system could rename duplicates or add something to the name to make it unique.

But only if they try to log in with their email address.

if they log in with their Username, they can log in normally.

I have a site where users can create posts for book series they have read. Currently they can only assign tags and terms that are already created. How can I allow users to create new tags and terms when creating their posts on the front end?

I am using the free version and recently updated to version WPUF Free v4.0.7. Users, even with administrators rights, were unable to log in with the following message displayed “You can’t login until an administrator manually approve your account.”. To gain access to the site I had to deactivate the plugin via ftp. Once into the site I reactivated the plugin and rolled back to version WPUF Free v4.0.6. Once done users were able to login again.

When a user registers, I have it set to automatically log in however, if they log out and try to log back in they get the error message ‘You can’t login until an administrator manually approve your account.’

I’m using the free version of the plugin and as far as I’m aware, the approval part of the registration is behind the Pro version, how do I make them automatically approved without the pro version? Or are users that sign up just forever unable to log back in if they ever log out?

I created a registration form with user email and password, also added a custom field (picture attached). The custom fields asks the USER to state or select their language combination (it’s a website about translation services), the idea is to be able to report how many users and show their language choice.

Is that possible?

Hi,

Everytime I update a post on the backend some checkbox fields that were “checked” on the front-end submission form get “unchecked”.

They are all checkboxes with only one option (‘yes’) with the metakey of a custom field that is also a checkbox option in the backend (and also gets selected when users check the field on the front-end form submission) so I’m guessing it has something to do with fields with the same name being duplicated on the same section of the backend post edit page.

How can I avoid this duplication when WPUF automatically creates on the backend post edit page all the fields that are displayed on the front-end form submission? Or how else could I fix this?

I’m having a similar issue with a radio field with two options.

Please let me know if something wasn’t clear.
