I am setting up a series of Multisite websites and am using WP User.

Whenever I go to a new site and view my profile page the avatar image is broken. If I try to edit it I get an error and need to refresh the page. Once I do that I can upload and crop an avatar.

When I go to another site in the network I run into the same issue.

Is there a fix for this?

I’ve created a signup form with some fields including username but on user edit profile page/form username field does not shows.

Clicking the MyReliance button at the top brings up the form, but leaves it greyed out so it can’t be accessed. Removing the modal-backdrop class from that div in Chrome Devtools allows us to submit the form.

This new issue started with the latest update to v7. There doesn’t seem to be a way to roll back to the previous version.

Hello, after activating the plugin, and created an account via the form and enabled 2 step verification, the plugin doesn’t send OTP. It keeps displaying sending OTP failed. Also no space to add mobile number to the registration form

I have a page which uses WPUser and has a very strange behaviour:

When the user enters the login page, enters his credentials and clicks “login” the login page will be prompted again. After a second login it works but sometimes the user just redirected back to the homepage.

In the network log of the browser I can see that a POST request is send the first time and all data is submitted but however the login page is just returned again. I even tried to submit wrong data but nothing happens, just the login form again. No “password/username wrong” message.
I can see nothing in the error or even debug logs.

Have you heard of this issue before? I’m using latest WordPress Version and latest WP User version. Issue occurs on all most used browsers (safari, firefox, chrome; tested on MacOS all browsers and system on latest version).

If you want I can provide you a URL and login data to check. Please let me know where to send the information, I don’t want to paste it here.

Im trying to get reCAPTURE to work on the login and register tabs.

I have added my Secret key to the reCAPTURE settings but there is no input field for the Site Key? How do you expect this to work without the field?

Any assistance on getting this working would be appreciated as its quite important to reduce spam.

Hi. I’m having trouble trying to send a request to the wp api. I have Enabled REST API and API Key Auth Verification but the service keeps returning a 401 “rest_forbidden” error saying I don’t have permission.

Hi, I need to disable or hide the email and password fields on the profile edit page. I use SSO authentication against azure AD and I do not want them to have the option to change their email, as this would damage the login, the password is similar, it is handled by azure and it is not possible to change it in wordpress.

I know this plugin can be used to restrict content to user types / levels, but I need some content to be restricted to specific users. can this be done? if not, is there any other way of doing this? Perhaps the content of a custom tab can be dependent on the specific user logged in?

I just installed WP Users version 6.2.1 and when I go to the WP Users admin page, I get a javascript error.

TypeError: $.AdminLTE is undefined   app.min.js:1:5428
	<anonymous> https://localhost/testsite/wp-content/plugins/wp-user/assets/dist/js/app.min.js:1:5428

This error makes other javascript on the page not work (like Debug Bar).

I am making some test changes directly into plugin. I use jQuery ajax to get response from one of the methods inside plugin. I am logged in as subscriber in application.
I can’t get data of logged user in any method (get_current_user_id returns 0, is_user_logged_in returns false). Logged in or not logged in, I always get 0 or false as result.

Then I output result of those same methods inside getUserList (where you even check if user is logged in), and I get same results; can’t get logged in user data, it’s always 0 or false.

How to get logged in user data? How to fix this issue?

How do I setup a registration form for a multisite network? Standard signup form does not have extra fields to create a subsite.
