I’m embarassed. My boxes doesn’t show up anymore and I don’t have access anymore to the Builder page. My History page seems reseted too…
Does anybody have this issue ? I updated to the latest version of visual slide box

I’m putting in the shortcode to show the image and it’s hover actions, but it doesn’t appear on the web page.

The ones that are working on the page were made before an update, so these haven’t been affected. The one that isn’t working is ‘Phoebe’. At the moment I have put her in using WordPress’s version of a rollover, but I would like it to be the same as all the others. You’ll be able to see on the source code that the shortcode is in there, it just doesn’t appear.

I want to create a new slide. I initially tried cloning an existing slide, but it showed on the page as landscape even though the dimensions are 250px wide x 355px high, and had a border, even though I had set it with no border. The preview looked fine. I have tried resaving it, changing some of the settings and resaving, but nothing changes its appearance. I then tried creating a completely new slide and edited the settings to what I want. However it looks identical to the previous attempt. I have also found that the page is not displaying any content that comes before the shortcodes apart from text with H tags – although there is paragraph text before the visual slide boxes it is not displaying on the page (https://www.nancystevens.co.uk/magazine-articles/). I have copied both onto this test page along with screen shots of the Visual Slide Box Builder settings. I wonder if the plugin has been broken by an update? WordPress, themes and all plugins including VSBB are up to date.

Hello, since an update my site is only displayed a few centimeters at the top of the screen. I disabled all plugins and the theme with health check, the problem only reappears when I reactivate visual slide box builder.
How to make my site appear on the whole screen again?

Great plugin. i have created some slides year ago but i updated the plugin recently. After update i can’t see my old slides. i have checked in history tab but nothing listed.
Created a new one and it is listed in history. how can i get my old slides?

Have bought the pro plugin version but can’t get any new Advanced slides to save. Can create a new slide, set the images to swap, then give the slide a name and click Save and nothing happens. Everything works in Image Caption but not for Advanced. Am I missing something? Tried in latest versions of Firefox and Chrome and nothing is working. Would appreciate some help please?

We use this for a series of images below the slider on the homepage of this site. On the front end the plugin is working fine, but we have been asked to swap the images and they are not visible in the back end? The plugin acts as though we have never used it.

I saw the advice to uninstall and reinstall but this has not changed anything, we are using the latest version.

How can we fix this so we can make changes to the slide boxes?

Do I need to add the short code the sites PHP? I thought I could just copy and paste the short code but it does not work.

Also, once I create a slide box. how do i find it again? Is there are a list of hover boxes I have created?

Dreamhost just told me that <redacted>/wp-content/plugins/wp-visual-slidebox-builder/public/images/Twilio Console – Phone Numbers Runtime TwiML Apps_files/jquery.js is malware. I looked at it, but didn’t see the signs listed by articles on jquery hacks.

I do wonder, though, why Twilio Console is inside public/images (or anywhere, for that mater). I’ve disabled this plugin, but if anyone knows more about this, I’d like to hear it.

These both have links set up that were working previously and show/work in the preview. However on the published page the link does not show.

I recently updated to version 3.2.1 and since then I’ve had many “page not found” errors in the WP admin, especially with plugins.php, but also while updating posts, etc. Reloading the page sometimes works, but sometimes doesn’t.

After troubleshooting – revert to standard theme, deactivate plugins, etc. — I narrowed the problem down to this plugin.

So I deleted the plugin and installed a fresh version. Upon activation I get this error message:

“The plugin generated 1600 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

After reading the post about “two plugins” I’ve tried to do what was written in there, but even after reinstall everything new there are still two plugins and I can not add any new visual sliders. (I only get a blank page)

I hope this can be resolved.

The latest update of the plugin (3.1.9) has two different named plugin files with the same exact size in it:

– vsbb-plugin.php
– wp-visual-slidebox-builder.php

So, it appears twice in the Plugins section.

You say multiple places that the previous versions would not be lost but it is displaying the short code on the site. When I am logged in, I can see the slide boxes, but a public visitor only sees the short code.

I started trying to rebuild anything remotely similar in the new version but it appears there is not an option to have text initially displayed any more. Now you have to use a link box instead of having the whole thing be the link…

I’m perfectly willing to build new (though it would be nice if I could see the original to help replicate it) but right now I just need it to at least function in the mean time. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello, I purchased am “extended” license for this excellent plugin in November. I have used it on 1 site so far and it has worked well. I see that the updated plugin is different and I understand your reasoning for doing so. I need to install it on another site but my license is not working. Also, I think I would like the upgraded grid feature. Can I upgrade my license and pay the difference? Also, I have emailed you concerning this with no reply so what is the best way to get this accomplished. I am working on a site that needs this so the sooner the better. Thank you for your hard work, you deserve to be compensated for it.

Really like the new update and features!

Howwever, we’ve noticed an issue with the buttons we’re creating when viewed in Chrome, Safari and Explorer. A horizontal grey line is appearing through the image and again vertically down the right hand side, which then appears at the bottom and right hand side when you hover over the image. It works fine in Firefox.

They look like they may be page sliders that you might find within a frame??

The buttons are simple image swaps, with only your fade transition effect added, using the Advanced setting.

I see that the standard animation is not available anymore.
I have several animations, adding a new one every month and need them to be the same.
