As a novice this plugin allowed me to build a new site with the added bonus of having all of the necessary security issues already dealt with.
After following the clear instructions from, purchasing a new domain, to setting up hosting accounts and then installation, my new site whooshed into action and saved me a huge amount of time.
A brilliant plungin I hope to use again and again for client sites and friends or family sites.

Absolutely fast and flawless! Used the WPWhoosh plug-in to install a Genesis theme on a new domain. Had no issues with setting up my hosting service (not one that was listed, but as it uses CPanel there were no worries); entered the default information for the theme, pressed a button and seconds later, it was installed — with the theme’s layout, configurations, widgits, plug-ins and best of all, necessary security procedures all set-up.
WPWhoosh saved hours – almost days – of work to find and install plug-ins, tweak the widgits, modify the .htaccess file, add a footer for contact information and more.
This plug-in will revolutionize WordPress and is so useful for anyone who uses it. You can be adding your content to a site within minutes of installing WordPress and your favorite template with WPWhoosh.
I love this plug-in and am looking forward to starting another site so I can whoosh it and be up and running in minutes!

Yet another stellar plugin from Russell Jamieson! This plugin addresses all the known security issues that come as the downside of other simple script installers. Whoosh assigns unique database names and a host of other cool time saving benefits while offering top level security.
I used with Genesis + Child theme and WordPress importer – was able go from zero to fully functioning, mobile responsive, custom background, woo-commerce store with 30 pages, 10 posts and a host of images, to completely done in 30 mins!
If you build sites for others or even multiple sites for yourself then WP Whoosh gives you a secure WP install with theme choices. It’s a massive time saver, and time is money!
